I bought it because I was attracted to the pattern on the case! It has great pigmentation and brightens up my face! The texture is almost matte, and the color lasts well! However, my lips tend to dry out easily, so I only wear it on special occasions.

The case is as beautiful as you can see. I even bought it just for the case. The color is strong and the application is smooth. The color lasts for a while, but it comes off quite a bit when eating or drinking, and it gets on the cup. It doesn't have a particularly nice scent, but it's not unpleasant either. If I had to say, it's a faint, cosmetic scent. I have sensitive lips, but it hardly caused any irritation. Peggy Taupe is a bold, stylish brown. When applied to the lips, it gives off a subtle reddish tint. I really like the color, and although I only recently bought it, I think it will be one of my most frequently used lipsticks this year. I plan to wear it in the spring with dark hair and a white shirt.

I'm cool-toned, so I bought 219 and compared it with similar lipsticks I own. Right: GUCCI 219. Center: Laura Mercier 168 Pink Chiffon. Left: NARS 2985 HOTKISS. Laura is a pink-beige with a strong beige tint, while GUCCI is a pink-beige with a strong pink tint. At first glance, NARS and GUCCI look similar, but NARS has a stronger reddish tint. Laura and NARS are matte, while GUCCI is glossy. Personally, I like matte shades better, so it would have been even better if this shade had a matte finish. You can add gloss over it to create a glossy finish, so it's my favorite of the three. They're all cool-toned, but Laura's beige is too strong, which is a bit odd. I have naturally reddish lips, so NARS makes them even redder, so I need to use concealer. GUCCI is somewhere in between, so it's easy to use. It's cheap, and the sample perfume was good, so I'm happy.

This is my first GUCCI lipstick purchase. The gold case features beautiful Art Deco-style decorations. It's smooth and easy to apply. I also love the mauve color. It doesn't dry out my lips, and I'm happy with it. I love lipsticks and have a lot of them, so I think it will take a while to use them all up, but I plan to buy more.

This is my third pair, in different colors. It's a matte satin finish, and the color lasts well. Gucci has many great products, so I look forward to new releases.
