How To Use

When using for the first time, remove the stopper and press the pump several times until the contents come out. Do not wet your hands or face before use. The recommended amount for one use is 3 pumps (approximately 2ml). Spread the cleanser over the entire palm of both hands. Without rubbing, gently press the cleanser onto (1) the forehead and around the eyes, (2) the outer cheeks, and (3) the nose and mouth. Gently blend in the area around the nostrils, where dirt tends to accumulate, in a circular motion. For eye makeup such as mascara, gently rub the cleanser from top to bottom with your middle and ring fingers to distribute it evenly. When removing stubborn eye makeup such as waterproof mascara, use an additional pump and blend in more carefully. Then rinse with water or lukewarm water.

I've been staying away from oil cleansers lately because I'm getting older and my skin is dry, but I tried this one during the summer. It doesn't have the "Oil! Removes everything!" feel I'm used to, but it has a refreshing, gentle texture. It removes my makeup without any problems. I think it could be used all year round. The bottle design, which is both simple and cute, is also nice. I wish the refills were a little cheaper! That's because only the pump is replaced.

It's gentle on the skin and removes light makeup well. I use the entire KANEBO line, but I've been using oils from other manufacturers just for cleansing. I like the feel of Mellow?, which you just stroke on, but it's expensive. When I asked about something similar at the cosmetics counter, they recommended this. Just stroke on, it removes mascara well, doesn't sting your eyes, and leaves your skin moisturized. I switched to this because it's a good price.
