I bought this at a time when I really wanted to keep my hairstyle in place. I was grateful that it kept my hair in place without stiffening it. Also, although the product name has "wave" in it, it was useful when I wanted to keep my bangs straight.

I was watching a lot of videos about styling my curly hair, and while I was looking for a gel styling product, this caught my eye and I bought it. It leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable, which is great. I like using it after wetting my hair with a spray to create a more wavy look. I also like the cute packaging, which makes it easy to keep in a visible place without looking like it's been worn down.

I bought this to style my curly hair. I currently have a bob that doesn't reach my shoulders, so I apply it to damp hair and let it air dry. I like that it's not a hard gel, so it doesn't leave a stiff perm, but that's why it feels like the perm loosens a little by the evening. However, most other gels come in tubes, which can be frustrating because the nozzle gets dirty, but this one has a pump, so I can dispense it in small amounts, which is great. I'll try using it this summer and see if it can withstand the humidity.

I'm using the Curly Girl Method. The ingredients aren't great. But considering the price and the ease of purchasing, such as being able to buy it at a local drugstore, it's okay. Also, I use shampoo & conditioner and hair cream that are OK for the Curly Girl Method, so this is fine. The nice scent isn't too strong, and it's a loose jelly that's only used when styling, so it seems like I can easily use up the pump type. The curl retention was also good, even on rainy days.

I've been using this product ever since I got my first perm last year! I started using it after my hairdresser recommended it, and the balance of price, size, and availability—considering daily use—is perfect for me. I always wet my hair, then apply the oil, then the jelly. Since blow-drying is a pain, I lightly style my hair and then let it air-dry. The loose texture makes it extremely easy to use for permed styles on coarse, curly hair. I use a fair amount, about 8-9 pumps each time, but even so, it seems to last about 3.5-4 months. I think it's good value for money. The round bottle also makes it stable and easy to use. Personally, I'm satisfied with a firm wet look and wave, so I don't mind the texture after drying or the slight clumping of hair strands. I think it's a great product for those who want to use it liberally and reduce hair volume and achieve a wet look.
