How To Use

Use morning and night when washing your face. After wetting your hands and face, take a small amount in the palm of your hand, lather it up, and apply it to your neck. Gently wash your face and neck in circular motions, then rinse with water or lukewarm water. Avoid contact with eyes.

I received a 30ml trial size at the counter. I usually use the combination/oily type. The beauty advisor said that this dry/normal type has improved lathering since the redesign. Indeed, the combination/oily type doesn't lather well, even with a foaming net, and my skin feels very moisturized after washing. It made me wonder, "Is this really for combination/oily skin?" They plan to gradually redesign the product so that it will also lather better. I was curious to hear that the lathering had improved, so I tried it right away...and it certainly does lather well! I thought my skin would feel moisturized after washing, but it was actually quite refreshing (lol). I wondered if it was meant for oily skin? (^_^;) If you have combination/oily skin and are considering buying Clarins face wash now, I think you'll be more satisfied with the dry/normal type.

I was concerned about enlarged pores, so I consulted with the counter and was recommended to reconsider my cleanser and face wash, which I purchased. Apparently, the new product lathered better, and the beauty consultant whipped up a lather for me right there. I was impressed by the moist, smooth texture, like whipped cream. Unlike the fluffy foam, this texture feels like it absorbs into the skin. The cleanser clears away dullness and feels even more refreshing than when I tried it by hand. I could really feel it removing sebum and impurities. This cleanser also has a much smoother texture when lathered by hand than when lathered with a foaming net, making it feel like I'm washing my face with whipped cream. It has a slightly spicy, mysterious scent, which I also like. Cleansing and washing can be a pain sometimes, but when I take it seriously, I realize that they're an important part of my skincare routine. Even a little extra effort can be a time for relaxation, so I plan to continue doing it regularly.

Even with a foaming net, the foam is not very fluffy, so it may not be enough for those who like thicker foam. There is not much tightness after washing your face, but it feels unsatisfying during the dry autumn and winter seasons.
