How To Use
How To Use
1. For a beautiful, long-lasting finish, first apply M.A.C. Prep Prime Lip to your lips. 2. Apply lipstick to your lips. Use the #318 Retractable Lip Brush for precise, beautiful application along the lip liner and other delicate lines.

Warm Teddy. A slightly dark reddish-brown. My lips are always pale, and browns often lack a healthy glow, but Warm Teddy gives a nice reddish tint that's easy to use! However, the brightness is subdued, giving a more subdued look. The color payoff is incredible. You can use it as your main lip color for a vibrant look, or create a gradient. It's smooth and moisturizing. It adheres well to the skin, so it feels comfortable to wear. Vertical wrinkles may occur, but you can smooth them out with a gloss or other product. Even on its own, it doesn't become completely matte, and I feel like it has a slight sheen. Regarding removal: The color does transfer to the cup, but it seems to last quite well. I usually only use sheer, long-lasting lipsticks, so when I used this in the same way, it stained my teeth. I'll be careful about that when using it. I also like MAC lipstick packaging! It's matte black, round, and opens and closes smoothly. It has a luxurious feel and makes me excited every time I use it. Overall, I'm glad I purchased it! I recommend it.
I actually went to buy Chanel's popular, long-lasting lipstick, but it wasn't the color I was looking for... I happened to see a MAC nearby, so I stopped in and tried out this cool and cute Velvet Teddy, which I loved and bought! I'm not really a fan of matte lipsticks, but this one makes me look like a smart older sister, so I absolutely love it! When I apply it, it gives off a muted, subdued color (^^) If I feel like it, I can add a gloss on top and it looks cute, so I'm so glad I bought it. Since then, I've been hooked on their lipsticks and have been buying more from their other series lol. I really love MAC!
My first shade is warm-toned, autumn-toned, and my second shade is cool-toned, winter-toned. My natural lip color is deep-toned. I'm also using Silky Matte in Yash, and I wanted something with a lower saturation, so I bought it. Folio is a gray tone that doesn't cast white, giving it a cool look. Applying it twice after blotting with a tissue erases the original lip color and leaves a strong color. Adding a light layer and then a lip pencil for a natural tone that's easy to use for daily makeup. After moisturizing, using Prep Prime Lip as a base prevents fading and vertical wrinkles from becoming noticeable, even with a thicker application. It doesn't dry out my lips, and it's easy to use, with no unevenness even when reapplied. The shades are unique, so I'd like to experiment with different shades.
It seems to be oil-in, so it feels stickier than regular matte lipstick.
I bought this because I wanted to try a matte lipstick. Ultimately, if I had the brand's Locked Kiss, I probably wouldn't have needed this lipstick. As is common with matte lipsticks, you have to deal with the dryness and accentuating wrinkles. The color is good, and it looks beautiful even when applied directly. The staying power is a bit iffy, and it does smear on the cup, so I need to reapply. However, this series seems to irritate my lips, so I don't like applying it too often... · Reapplication required · Chapped · Dryness prevention required Considering the above, if you apply Locked Kiss in the morning, all you need to do is moisturize with lip oil, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you're someone who absolutely loves a certain color. However, it has many positive reviews, so it seems like it would be good for lips with fewer wrinkles and lips that don't irritate with the ingredients in this lipstick. I've included a before and after photo. I took it in natural light by a window.
