It's not like it feels super comfortable to use, but it does moisturize my skin and I can tell it's vitamin C. It's great to have a high concentration of vitamin C at such an affordable price. Skin inevitably gets dull once you turn 40. The texture is thick and spreads easily. Is the scent citrus? I don't dislike it, but I have a cat, so I would have preferred an unscented one. Vitamin C lotions don't seem to absorb easily. But it's good because it doesn't dry out the skin!
