Mary Quant Face Final Skincare Powder (02 Light Beige), 12g

I was looking for a pure white powder and this caught my eye, so I bought it. There's a slight scent, but it's not too noticeable. The fact that you can buy just the refill is both economical and eco-friendly. The finish is almost transparent, but I don't think it tones my skin. Also, due to my skin being irritated by pollen, I get a bit of flakiness around my mouth and cheeks. The puff was sold separately, so I used my COSDECO AQ puff, but maybe it wasn't a perfect match... I'll try to learn how to use it better. The best finish I've recently purchased is by far YSL. I think it's especially good for those who want to create a fairer complexion. However, the strong fragrance, the lack of replaceable refills, and the tendency to break out... I wonder if Make Up Forever's brush works better than its puff? I'm a puff fan, so when I used the puff, it quickly broke and fell apart, which was a bit disappointing... It's not as effective as YSL, but it does tone up my skin and leaves it smooth, matte, and even.

My skin has been getting a bit rough lately, so I've been wanting to avoid loose face powders, and I've been trying this one for a while. It's very gentle on the skin. It doesn't irritate my skin. It leaves my skin feeling smooth. I chose the beige color. Even when I apply it over my regular base makeup, it doesn't feel thick at all. The beauty advisor recommended, "Instead of smoothing it on, apply it by tapping the puff gently on the skin for an even, smooth application," so I'm doing exactly that. I really like it. Its gentleness on the skin is a big plus. Addendum (October 18, 2024): This powder gives a better finish when applied with a brush rather than with the Mary Quant skincare powder puff. It doesn't look thick. I initially used a Six Plus powder brush, but it was inconvenient to carry around, so I bought a brush that fits in my Mary Quant case. Applying it with a brush is definitely better.

It's a powder that cares for your skin. I thought the puff that came with it was hard and difficult to use, but it became soft after washing it. It hides pores and gives a filter-like finish. I like the color because it's not too white. I prefer the solid type because it's easier to control the amount. It doesn't dry out my skin, and it leaves a beautiful finish even in the evening. It's reasonably priced and portable, so I plan to buy it again.

[Reason for Purchase] My before-bed skincare routine tends to be sticky, so I was looking for a powder I could use 24 hours a day. [How to Use] When I had my skincare routine done at the store, they applied everything from primer to foundation, and then applied powder on top of that. But at home, I only use this after my skincare routine. I use the puff several times to remove the powder. [Feel] It's surprisingly smooth, yet doesn't dry out my skin, doesn't leave a white cast, and has no fragrance, so I love it! I initially asked about the tinted version, but they recommended the white version, and when I tried it, I loved how it made my skin look more refined. [Recommendation] Marikwa's products may be a bit pricey, but I've never had any skin irritation from their products, so I think they really research their ingredients. The case is also reversible for right-handed and left-handed users, which I think is very thoughtful! I originally planned to use it as a before-bed skincare routine, but when I run out of my current daytime touch-up, I decided to try this one!

It's incredibly smooth, so I use it on my T-zone, which tends to get oily. The same Marikwa powder is hard to carry around, and Face Final has a set of colors I don't need, so it's hard to use... so I use this skin care powder on my T-zone in the morning or for touch-ups. I'd like to use it on my whole face, but it runs out quickly, so I'm wondering if it's cost-effective. Since it's not cost-effective, I'm giving it fewer stars.
