(Limited Sale) Mary Quant Loose Face Powder (01 Sheer Matte, 20g)

I have very dry skin, so I was looking for something that would leave a moisturizing feeling. My cheeks are always dry, but this is moisturizing and feels great. Since I use it with a brush, the case isn't particularly important, so having a refill is a nice feature.

I've quietly repurchased this product several times! I first used it back when the container was the old type (around 2018, I think). I liked the feel, so I bought it again. However, the container was extremely difficult to use; powder would fly around every time I used it, the lid wouldn't seal, and the container's design meant a lot of powder would get on the face mask. It was impossible to carry around, so I used something else for a while. (It looked so cute I still had it.) However, I recently purchased a refill and put it in a KOSEDEC powder container and started using it again. It's light and smooth, but not drying. It doesn't contain any weird glitter or pearls, and it softly corrects the skin, doesn't dull it, and has a moderate matte finish with just a hint of sheen. I really like this, and I think it's a great powder. The particles are super fine. It's not high-coverage or super oil-proof, but it's easy to use and doesn't get in the way of anything. For this quality and quantity, 3,300 yen definitely counts as a bargain. It's such a good value. It seems like it would be so easy to use that anyone would find it hard to choose, so it's strange that I've never seen anyone around me use it, and it's never been talked about. I'd be even happier if it came in a small, portable, airtight container.

I bought the 02 Clear Satin refill. I put it in a powder case from another manufacturer that I have. It was whiter and more matte than I expected from the name "satin." However, the powder is very fine and translucent. It doesn't have much coverage. It doesn't make the T-zone or other areas shiny or dry. It comes in a large quantity and is reasonably priced. I have a good impression of it.

I like that it prevents shine and adheres well to the skin.

My first review: 5 stars. While I wouldn't say it has great coverage, the fine powder and delicate pearls conceal pores and make my skin look beautiful. If you have fair skin, this might be fine with a primer that doesn't prioritize coverage, but it gives your skin a beautiful, radiant finish, so I think I'd prefer a primer with some coverage plus this powder. Even so, my skin still looks beautiful, so as long as I don't have any problems, I'll probably repurchase. The case is retro and cute, and I like the fact that it comes with a refill. However, when you open it, you have to peel off the sticker that covers the powder outlet, and even though I tried to be careful, there was a loud vibration and the powder came flying out, leaving a white stain on my pants, which was a bit of a problem. That's something to be careful about, and then I gave it 7 stars. This powder might be fine for me. It makes my skin look beautiful. I sometimes use Suqqu, and Suqqu is so radiant! Marikuwa is so radiant! There is still a price difference of nearly 7,000 yen, so it is true that Suqqu is not only beautiful but also has a sense of refined beauty, but to me, the finish is so good that it's hard to believe it's only 7,000 yen different. It's not that Suqqu is expensive, but rather that the price difference is a bit of a surprise, as in, "Is it really okay to get such a beautiful finish for something in the 3,000 yen range?" I will probably buy more Suqqu products in the future, but this is the one I will use every day. Also, as always, I keep the plastic container-shaped divider (?) that originally came with the product between the puff and the net, and store it so that the net doesn't come into direct contact with the puff. However, on days when the case gets turned upside down in my pouch, it's a disaster and a lot of powder comes out between the net and the divider, so I have to tap it hard to get it to the bottom of the net before using it again, or if I don't have time, I push it down with the puff and use it. Even taking that into account, the finish is so beautiful and glossy that I will definitely buy it again! Thank you.
