Curel Gel Makeup Remover, 130g

I bought this because I wanted to use a gel product. It's a little hard.

I use it in place of my morning face wash to remove the oil from the cream I applied at night. It leaves my skin feeling refreshed without any tightness, so I find it very useful.

I often use soap to remove makeup, but I often take my kids to the bathroom, so I'm looking for a gentle cleanser that's quick and easy to use. I'm satisfied with Cow Brand's milk cleanser, but I wanted something a little more, and I found this. I didn't realize double cleansing was necessary (sob). The gel is on the thicker side (maybe because it's winter?) and gradually thickens with body heat. I dispense a generous amount, warm it in my palm, and gently swirl it around my face. My mascara, which washes off easily with hot water, seems to linger, but rinsing it with warm water is no problem. There's no overly strong scent, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling particularly moisturized. It doesn't linger, or anything. lol I don't have particularly dry, sensitive skin, and double cleansing wasn't something I planned on, so I won't be buying it again, but I think this gentle gel is a great reassurance for rough skin.

I was told by a dermatologist that gel cleansing is gentle on the skin. It feels like it removes makeup easily. I use a separate product to remove eye makeup.
