I bought this because I was concerned about dryness around my eyes. If you apply a little more, it won't dry out even after a while, so it will be especially useful in the winter. It's also great that you can carry it around with you.

At first glance, it seems like a thick cream, but as you spread it on your skin, it becomes a looser texture that blends well. For spot dryness, a small amount about the size of a grain of rice is enough, but I also dispense a little more, warm it between my fingertips, and use it all over my face. The product description on the Carte website describes it as having an "alpha gel structure" and "when applied to the skin, it creates a refreshing, smooth, and spreadable texture that melts away effortlessly," and I truly experienced how it felt when I used it! The small tube-type container makes it easy to carry around, and I love using it.

I completely ignored it... ■ Skin Type, Concerns, and Reasons for Choosing It: I have thin, sensitive skin. As the temperature drops, my skin, especially around my eyes and mouth, becomes dry and wrinkled. I was looking for a moisturizing balm that was gentle and easy to carry around. ■ Texture/Feeling: When I first applied it, it felt a little hard, which made me a little worried, but when I spread it with my fingers, it melted with body heat and spread smoothly. It wasn't too sticky, and it left my skin feeling moisturized and protected. It's fragrance-free and non-irritating, making it easy to use in any season. The tube format makes it easy to use. ■ Dosage/How to Use: At the end of my morning skincare routine, I squeeze about 3mm onto the back of my hand and apply it around my eyes and mouth. This seems to significantly prevent dryness throughout the day. When I feel dry during the day, I also add a little on top of my makeup. ■ Changes in Skin After Use/Effects: I'm not sure if it has the same effect as Hirudoid (lol), but it seems to reduce the fine lines caused by dryness and make my skin look plumper! I also appreciate that it doesn't sting, no matter what the condition of my skin is. ■ Overall rating/intention to repurchase It's fragrance-free and hypoallergenic, giving me great peace of mind. It's like a "talisman balm" that gives me strength just by having it. I have a feeling it will become a must-have item for the coming season...
