Be careful when choosing your shade! My skin tone is light, leaning towards pink. (I use Make Up For Ever's HD Foundation 1N00.) I first purchased and used S400 Precious Latte. However, I felt like it lacked definition and made my skin look too red, which didn't quite suit me. Then, during a makeup lesson, someone pointed out to me that "this shade is too orange," so I used MAC Coquette as a shader. I realized that even if it's this dark (or dark), I just need to adjust the amount I apply! So I purchased S430 Marvelous Peanut, which has a less reddish, more grayish hue. When I tried it, S430 blended in more naturally and didn't look out of place compared to S400. It creates a three-dimensional effect even when applied thinly, making it my favorite shade. I prefer heavy makeup, so I also like the ability to create bold, defined shadows. I've been struggling with shading, but I think I'll be able to settle in for a while. I recommend choosing a shade based on your preferences and skin tone, especially for cool-toned and very light-skinned people.
