L'OCCITANE Immortelle Precious Rich Cleansing Oil, 200ml

I usually wear light makeup, so it removed it without any problems. It's an oil cleanser, but it's smooth and feels light, and I washed my face with lukewarm water and felt refreshed afterwards. Personally, I double-cleanse my face with soap. L'Occitane has a lovely scent that's soothing.

For some reason, I ended up buying the cleansing oil instead of the hand cream at a standalone store. To cut to the chase, I decided to go with Attenir. Actually, this product itself is good, but the rival Attenir was just too strong (lol). ★Scent★ As others have said, it has a unique scent. When I first started using it, I was a bit surprised, wondering, "Is this the scent of immortelle...?!", but after using it a few times, I got used to it. It says "Made in France," so maybe the scent is popular with locals. (By the way, I was a little put off by it when I was in the middle of morning sickness.) ★Texture★ It's very smooth. One pump dispenses very little, but it seems like you need about eight pumps per use. ★Removal Power★ Unfortunately, it didn't remove my eye makeup (Attenir does a great job). Perhaps due to its compatibility with mascara, the warm water-removing type often left makeup on my lower eyelids, so a point makeup remover is essential. While double cleansing isn't necessary, I did lightly wash my face after cleansing to leave it nice and smooth. Incidentally, rubbing it in too much can dry out your skin, so it's best to gently massage it in and remove it. ★Cost-effectiveness★ According to the store clerk, one use of about eight pumps lasts about three months. I used it alongside other cleansers, so it took about six months to finish, but I think the cost-effectiveness is pretty good. At 4,600 yen per bottle, that's just 1,200 yen per month. ★Overall Verdict★ Considering the availability of refills, how well it removes makeup, the price, and the fragrance, I think Attenir is the best choice for repeat purchases. While I don't think L'Occitane's concept calls for a "fragrance-free" product, I wish it had at least a fragrance that appealed to everyone... (lol). Also, I personally prefer thicker textures, so while a lighter one isn't bad, it's not worth buying again or recurring. I'd like to try a liquid or water-based cleanser someday.

One pump is a small amount, so 6-7 pumps is enough for one use. I'm a fan of the Immortelle series, so the scent doesn't bother me. In fact, it's soothing. It's smooth, so if I don't apply it quickly, it drips. I have dry skin, so I use a milk cleanser, and I found that the oil removes makeup better than that. However, it leaves some eyeliner behind. It takes a little longer on my chin and nose. It leaves a clean, refreshing feeling without any stickiness after rinsing with warm water, but I habitually double-cleanse. The bottle is made of plastic, and the small cap is a bit inconvenient. The cost performance is decent, and there are no drawbacks, but Attenir's cleansing oil seems popular, so I'd like to try that next time. P.S. I used about a third of it. It removed makeup well, but my pores became larger. It's a shame, as I don't have particularly noticeable pores. Around the same time I started using this cleanser, I started using emulsion first (lotion after emulsion), so perhaps the oil from the emulsion penetrated directly into my pores after thoroughly removing the dirt, but it's hard to say that this cleanser is the sole cause of my more noticeable pores. However, I decided to go back to using the milk cleanser, even if it doesn't remove as much dirt. I plan to remove dirt with regular ion cleansing, and keep the oil for when I wear full makeup a few times a year. Incidentally, Covermark's Milk Cleanse has had good reviews, so I tried a sample, but my impression was that it was more of a translucent gel and turned into an oil as I rubbed it in, so I don't think I'll buy it. It turns out that prioritizing good removal has its drawbacks, so it's a matter of which one to choose. I realized that it's important not to remove too much makeup when it comes to aging skin.
