If I use it on my whole face, it leaves white residue on my cheeks and around my mouth, which tend to dry out easily, so I try to use it only on my T-zone! It has a really nice scent and lifts my spirits when I use it.

I have very oily skin, so on days when I absolutely need to keep my makeup from coming off, I mix the mist with my liquid base makeup and apply it, or I use the mist after each step: primer → mist → foundation → mist → powder → mist, but perhaps because this mist has a strong powdery feel, it ends up drying out and coming off messily once my base makeup is complete. Even if you have oily skin, it seems best to spray it lightly at the end of your makeup routine.

I have oily skin and have used a variety of base makeup and fix mists in combination, but if I had to choose a matte one, this would be it. It's a powder-in-mist, so it doesn't make my sebum stand out. However, it contains too much powder, so after spraying it, the powder gets fluffy on my eyelashes and eyebrows lol. It can be removed cleanly with an eyebrow brush, so there's no problem.

I like the finish because it's hard to find a fix that gives a smooth matte finish. Before the renewal, I was worried about the coarseness of the mist, but it seems to have been improved. It contains a lot of it, so it lasts for one season. I also like Shu's Matte Fix, so I'm going to use up the whole bottle and then decide whether to buy it again.

This is my second time buying the mini size! I use it for travel. The scent is strong, so if you are concerned about it, I recommend checking it out with a tester. When I smell this scent, I get excited and think, "I'm on vacation!" lol It's a little shiny, so I use the matte type. When I wipe it off with a tissue around noon, it feels like it goes back to a beautiful semi-matte finish.
