How To Use

The included sponge allows you to control the finish by using different sides. For full coverage, use the sponge side to apply foundation in short strokes, blending from the center of your face outward. Repeat until you achieve your desired coverage. For medium coverage, use the velvet side to lightly glide the foundation from the center of your face outward. If applying with a brush, we recommend Foundation 109. [PRO TIP] Use the HD Skin Matte Velvet Compact as a face powder over liquid foundation for a flawless matte finish with enhanced coverage. If using as a powder, we recommend the Precision Powder Brush 128. When applying, use the "dot and dust" technique. 1. Apply the powder to the skin by patting the brush onto the forehead, chin, and both cheeks. No additional powder is required during this process. 2. With your eyes closed, move the brush from your forehead down, blending from left to right, to apply the powder as if it were a thin veil.

If you apply it to the area you want to hide acne with a brush and dab it on, it blends in nicely and the acne disappears, so rather than using it all over, I apply it to the areas I want to hide. It has good coverage! It hides better than a poorly applied liquid concealer.

I received the 1N06 mini size. It has a good color with a slightly lower saturation. As a powdery foundation, I think it is relatively hard to peel off the mask. However, mist is essential. Some powdery foundations are ineffective on masks even if you spray mist, so this is much better than those. Also, as I am not good at matte, a glossy highlight is also a must. The coverage is decent. The color has improved since I used the liquid foundation about 10 years ago, so I would like to try other foundations.

I love this series so much that I also bought the cushion foundation, and just applying Matte Velvet lightly with a brush after the liquid HD Skin Foundation gives me flawless skin that lasts all day.

I used Y225 before the renewal. I love powder foundation so much that I think this is the one. The puff that comes with it is too matte for me, so I apply it lightly all over with a brush and then apply it again to areas where I'm concerned about uneven color. It only takes a quick swipe, but it makes the imperfections less noticeable. I think it will stay beautiful even if you can't touch up your makeup for a long time. The only thing that's a bit disappointing is that it doesn't list SPF. I use this after applying sunscreen and UV primer. Even though it doesn't list SPF, I think it does have some UV protection, so I reapply it frequently when I go out.

I have been using the old version and this is the first time I've purchased this version. Even though it's a powder, it has great coverage and is moisturizing.
