How To Use

The included sponge allows you to control the finish by using different sides. For full coverage, use the sponge side to apply foundation in short strokes, blending from the center of your face outward. Repeat until you achieve your desired coverage. For medium coverage, use the velvet side to lightly glide the foundation from the center of your face outward. If applying with a brush, we recommend Foundation 109. [PRO TIP] Use the HD Skin Matte Velvet Compact as a face powder over liquid foundation for a flawless matte finish with enhanced coverage. If using as a powder, we recommend the Precision Powder Brush 128. When applying, use the "dot and dust" technique. 1. Apply the powder to the skin by patting the brush onto the forehead, chin, and both cheeks. No additional powder is required during this process. 2. With your eyes closed, move the brush from your forehead down, blending from left to right, to apply the powder as if it were a thin veil.

I received this as a sample from suzykirei. It adheres perfectly to the skin and makes pores less noticeable. It will come in handy for touch-ups in the evening!

I wish I'd found this sooner, as it stays put and I'm truly grateful for it. The texture is velvet matte, as the name suggests, but since it's a modern powder foundation, it's amazing that it doesn't feel like a powder foundation. Its coverage is strong when applied with a densely bristled brush or the included sponge, so it's best to apply it with a fluffy brush, buffing it in and then layering it with a sponge only on areas of concern. Pinkish shades suit me, so I tried 1R02, but it ended up looking quite reddish. I also purchased a MUFE concealer, which is in the N series and was the right color. Since it's a foundation, touch-ups are recommended, but I felt this was especially true with MUFE. I might repurchase 1N00.

I received a sample. It's 1R02. It's so good! I was really impressed after using a sample for the first time in a while. When you apply it lightly over liquid foundation, it hides pores and removes roughness. It's good for touch-ups. I'm considering buying this product with points.

It has high coverage but doesn't dry out! Recommended for dry and sensitive skin. It doesn't itch! I know I'm applying too much, but after applying liquid foundation and concealer, I apply this powder with a small brush only to areas where redness is visible. Many foundations get messy when applied multiple times, but this one doesn't. I use it on days when I go out and wear makeup. A repeat product.

The included puff is also excellent, with a brushed surface on one side that gives you a velvety finish. It feels so nice on the skin that it makes applying makeup a little more enjoyable. However, the brushed part can come off if you wash it too hard, so it's recommended to clean it gently.
