How To Use

After applying your makeup base, take an appropriate amount onto a sponge and spread it evenly over your entire face. I like that it can be layered without feeling dry, even in the dry winter. I expect to use it up by early spring, so I'll update again with my impressions of using it throughout the winter. Miraculously, it also fits in Maquia's vertical compact, so I'll buy it again.

I used the standard color. I think it's excellent for this price range, but it's not particularly moisturizing. The powder doesn't blend well with my skin due to the dryness, and for some reason it ends up looking thick and overly applied. I'm in my 40s, so if it doesn't have a glossy finish, I look suddenly older, so I don't use it much.

I absolutely love it!! It leaves my skin looking naturally beautiful, better than any expensive department store cosmetics. It also wears off beautifully, and just wiping it off with a tissue goes a long way. It doesn't require any technique, so even if you apply it haphazardly it looks beautiful, doesn't clog pores, and has decent coverage. I've never come across a better foundation! (I used to spend 10,000 yen on foundation, but Chifure suits me better.) It's not matte, it's not glossy, it's neutral. I really love it.

I used to use Kose Noah BB Powder as a foundation for my liquid foundation, but it was too yellow, so I tried this pink ochre. The color matched so well that I wish I had switched sooner. I also use it as a powder for my liquid or BB cream, but it's quite drying despite being supposed to be moisturizing. However, it does hide blemishes better than Kose.

It's a fine-grained sponge with a very soft texture. I use it together with Chifure's Moisture Powder Foundation. As it's specifically named for this product, I think it gives a better finish than other sponges from 100 yen stores. Specifically, it seems to get less of the product in my pores than other sponges.
