ORBIS Bright Lotion L, 180ml

It's a watery lotion, yet deeply moisturizing, which feels great! It doesn't leave any flakes, even when used in the morning, making it the perfect fall/winter toner. I've recently realized that watery lotions suit my combination skin, which leans toward oily, and I've been searching for one. However, fall/winter tends to be dry, so I was looking for something watery that still moisturizes well and, if possible, brightens my skin. Orbis, a Pola brand, seemed like a safe bet, so I decided to give it a try. The texture is watery. It was exactly what I was looking for, but the bottle was a bit difficult to squeeze out... I like to apply lots of watery lotions, but it only dispenses a little at a time, which is a bit frustrating. I decided to just apply it in small increments, and once I tried it, it was incredibly moisturizing! It had a rich, hydrating feel that I wouldn't expect from a watery lotion. Perhaps the bottle isn't designed to dispense too much at once because a small amount provides so much moisture. I had assumed that brightening lotions would be less moisturizing, but this one doesn't. It's perfectly moisturizing and supple, perfect for fall and winter. While the L label claims it's "refreshing," it left my skin feeling like I'd used a thicker lotion, so I might want to try something a little different in the spring and summer if I'm looking for a lighter finish. Since it left my skin feeling like I'd used a thicker lotion, I was a little worried about it affecting my makeup routine in the morning... (I absolutely love my makeup base, but thicker lotions always flake off.) Not only did it not flake off at all, but it also kept my skin feeling plump all day, which surprised me, even though my skin was extremely dry from the air conditioning. I've only been using it for about a week, so I'm not sure about the brightening effect yet, but I'll continue using it and see how it goes. So far, I really like it.

I used it in the summer. The container doesn't have to be twisted, so it's easy to open, and I like this type for busy mornings. The opening of the container is narrow, so only a little comes out. I want to use a lot, so if I use a cotton pad, I have to shake it several times to get the amount I need. My skin started to become irritated after about half the bottle, so I used it up while watching my condition.
