Skin Care: Pre-Lotion Skin Type: Thin/Dry Skin + Inner Dryness This is a "pre-lotion" to use before applying lotion! I received it as a birthday gift from a friend, but I used it incorrectly as a sealant, feeling sticky and uncomfortable, so I left it. Recently, I noticed that my thin skin's texture was getting worse due to dryness, so I went to a cosmetics specialist for advice. They used this on a cotton pad for my skincare routine, and that's when I finally realized how to use it. Honestly, it's amazing!! Thin skin has a fast turnover rate, and the stratum corneum isn't as hydrated and developed, so it's best to deliver moisture with a "pre-lotion" and then fill it in with lotion. I thought Albion was the only brand that offered emulsion-first formulas, but it turns out the KOSE décolleté formula also comes with emulsion-first formula... Comparison: Albion (Emulsion) Flarne: Teens, 20s or oily skin Anfinesse: Around 30/Waterier than décolleté formula Exsia: Around 40/On par with décolleté formula, but not as cost-effective Compared to the Albion emulsions I've been using since Exage, Cosme Decorte's emulsion feels of better quality. It's not "highly moisturizing and sticky," but rather, just by absorbing it with a cotton pad, Cosme Decorte's emulsion leaves skin feeling smooth and lifted.

I've been using the black Kanebo for the past few years, but it still left my skin feeling dry, so I tried this one in store and switched to this one this winter. I was worried it might be too moisturizing, but if I lightly wipe it off with a tissue before applying makeup, my skin stays dry almost all day except around my eyes, which is great. My eyes do get dry, but I only need to apply eye cream once during the day and it's fine. AQ seems to be more popular, but I don't really like its toiletry-like scent, and this one has a luxurious scent, so overall this was the right choice. I recommend it to anyone who is concerned about dryness!

I've been using the AQ series for a while, but I wanted to try this one again, which I'd used before, so I bought it. It's a very thick emulsion. The AQ one feels lighter. I've been feeling very dry, so I'm grateful for this thick texture! It keeps my skin moisturized even when I wake up in the morning, and the scent is nice, so I'll be using this one again for a while.
