How To Use

As this is a two-layer type, shake well before applying a sufficient amount evenly. For the face, use as the last step in your morning skincare routine. For the body, apply a line directly from the container onto the skin and gently blend in using a circular motion with your palm. If you use too little, you will not get sufficient UV protection. *When removing, wash thoroughly with a cleanser or similar product.

I bought this because I was attracted by its claims of being "resistant to rubbing and movement." Its palm-sized size makes it easy to carry around in my commuter bag. The metallic bottle is stylish (lol), and the shape fits comfortably in my hand and makes it easy to shake. It has the classic, light, "sunscreen" texture. When I applied it to my skin, it glides smoothly at first, but then I felt a bit rough. I'd been using gels for years, so it was a bit difficult to get used to at first, but I figured it couldn't be advertised as "resistant to rubbing and movement," so I put up with it. Once it was absorbed, the surface of my skin felt firm and unslippery, and just touching it made me realize, "Ah, cleansing is essential." It claims to be "removable with soap," but perhaps because I'm not using it right, it never comes off, so I resort to using cleansing oil, even though it's a pain. In fact, the texture remains the same even when I take a bath, and if I forget to cleanse and wash my body with regular body soap, the area where I applied it remains hard and creaky, so I end up only cleansing that area... I think it's probably quite harsh on my skin, so I make sure to moisturize thoroughly on the days I use it. I also use a UV hoodie and a parasol, so I can't say for sure about its effectiveness on its own, but even though I don't use a parasol when my hands are full with luggage, I don't feel like I'm getting sunburned. Well, it fits so tightly to my skin and is so hard to remove, so I'd like it to protect me from the sun accordingly (lol). To be honest, I'm not sure whether I'll buy it again, but I might choose it if I absolutely, really don't want to get sunburned.
