Make Up For Ever Step 1 Primer (Pore Minimizer), 15ml

I have dry skin and wear heavy makeup, so I bought this to keep my makeup from coming off for about 18 hours. It did cause some pore wear around my cheeks, but it didn't cause any sticky makeup around my nose.

I have combination skin that tends to get oily just on my nose, so I was using Primavista's oil-blocking primer for extra-oily skin only on my nose, but it didn't seem to be very effective and my nose would get oily over time. I was looking for a different primer when I happened to see a YouTube video recommending this primer for extra-oily skin, so I bought the smaller size. It does get oily over time, but I think it's better than Primavista. And it reduces the appearance of pores, which is nice, since Primavista's bottles tend to drip and stain the underside of the lid, but this one has a firmer texture, so that's fine. The scent is quite strong, but since I only apply it to my nose, it's not that noticeable, probably because I only use a small amount. If there's nothing else that bothers me, I'll probably buy it again.

After application, it leaves a smooth finish and fills in the pores around the nose. I've been using the larger size for several years, but I still can't finish it, so I decided to buy the smaller one instead, considering the effect it might have on my skin. This size is great because it keeps my skin fresh.

I was intrigued by this product because makeup artists recommended it for people with oily skin, so I bought it. It doesn't contain zinc oxide, but I wasn't sure if pore-filling products would suit me, so I was glad they had a mini size. I first tried it without powder, and while it's hard to completely suppress shine, it did a great job. I was also impressed by how smooth it was from the moment I applied it! The color feels quite dark on the palm of your hand, but it blends well even on those with fair skin. Even after wiping it off with a tissue, my pores still look blurred and beautiful, and it's so smooth I can't help but touch it! I only needed about two grains of rice, so it will probably take a while to use it all up. This is another product I'm glad I recently bought!

Pores really do disappear, leaving smooth cheeks. Even in the evening, the coverage doesn't become sticky or come off. It has great coverage. Pores are well hidden, so the foundation blends smoothly into the skin and doesn't show any roughness. It doesn't seem to be suitable for all pores, as the effect is weaker on blackheads and clogged pores, and they only become softer. Even when the foundation peeled off from dawn to dusk, my skin felt smooth and silky to the touch, and it didn't come off, so it's very durable.
