When I was purchasing Matte Velvet Skin, I mentioned my concerns about flaking around my mouth, and this was recommended to me. When my skin was extremely dry, I used two or three drops, but now in the summer, I can cover my entire face with just one. The push-type formula is a bit of a pain, but it makes me feel like I'm using a department store serum, which gets me excited. It's not something I absolutely have to use, but since I can get by without a primer and it doesn't feel harsh on my skin, I haven't found a replacement, so I'll give it a try for a while. If I had to point out one drawback, it's the smell, which I really don't like. It's supposed to be fragrance-free, but it smells kind of dusty, or like the ingredients. While this is proof that it doesn't contain any unnecessary ingredients, if this were improved, I'd recommend it even more.
