I'm a skincare enthusiast, but I'm in my 50s and have zero makeup skills. In the morning, all I can manage is base makeup and blush (lol). I've always been clumsy with eyebrows, eyeliner, and eyeshadow, but with my presbyopia, I can't see very well when I take off my reading glasses to apply makeup, so I end up being even more sloppy. So, I overwhelmingly use a variety of brushes for base makeup, and I also have a wide selection of powder brushes. Being an old-fashioned person, I assumed synthetic bristles were of lower quality than natural bristles, so I haven't updated my brush collection to reflect the current trends. However, I've recently received some gifts and have come to appreciate the superior quality and ease of care of synthetic bristles. I've decided to switch to synthetic bristles, so after carefully reading everyone's reviews, I decided to purchase this one. (I also read a review from Megumi Kanzaki about using it, which gave me the push I needed (lol).) I thought the Credo powder brushes I already had would be easy to use with synthetic bristles, but this one has a completely different shape. The Credo brush is dense and spherical, so when you swirl it around, it creates a powerful coverage. Personally, I find the bristles softer and firmer than the Credo brush, making it feel incredibly comfortable on the skin. Since it's flat rather than round, I was instructed to pick up powder, dab it on, and then buff it smoothly, which is exactly what I do. It's also large, and I feel like it applies powder with a soft, fluffy look. I liked it so much that I even bought a replacement one from Suzykirei online. I was so impressed by the quality of the bristles in the store that I asked the helpful beauty advisor lots of questions, and I ended up buying the larger La Mer powder brush, the 130 (which is difficult for me to use and I haven't used it much yet, but it's fine because I love it), the Kabuki brush, which has dense bristles and is great for applying powder evenly, and the 160 cheek brush. I went to Make Up For Ever and learned so much about them that I love them so much that I want to buy them all! It's all thanks to all your reviews! Thank you!
