Make Up For Ever Powder Kabuki 124

I read reviews saying this brush is good for applying powder to the facelift, so I bought it to carry around with me. It really feels great on the skin. It doesn't irritate the skin, and just swirls it around nicely. I wish it came with a case too. I'm worried about how heavy it is, but I wish they'd improve the weight and include a case.

I thought it was a little pricey, but I was right to buy it. It's now my favorite powder brush. The bristles are soft and gentle on the skin, and the generous amount of bristles makes it easy to apply powder and create a thin, beautiful finish. I knew that a brush with more bristles generally applies more lightly to pressed powder, but this brush clearly shows that effect. Conversely, a puff seems to be better for a more thorough application. It's a shame it's not retractable, but even taking that into account, I like this brush. The Dior brush is retractable and has plenty of bristles, but the bristles are hard and painful. The Givenchy Prisme Libre brush is retractable and has soft bristles, but the bristles are thin, making it difficult to apply evenly, so it's best suited to loose powder. Other brushes have their pros and cons, and the long handles make them difficult to carry. Looking more closely, the construction is impressive, with a stylish base made of moku wood, making it a great gift. I think it's a worthwhile brush. It now applies not only Make Up For Ever powder, but also powders that were previously difficult to control. Until now, I've thought that Clé de Peau's brushes are soft and easy to use, and can be stored away. Clé de Peau's brushes are easy to wash and dry, so I'll use them for foundation. I'll carry Make Up For Ever's brushes with me for powder.

I bought this because I heard it would be even better if used as a set with the Skin Loose Powder. I like how it applies lightly and blurs pores.

It feels great on the skin and is my favorite of all the brushes I've purchased so far. I was especially impressed when it applied powder foundation beautifully. It doesn't look thick, and you can see that it's applied thinly to your face, but it gives a natural finish that doesn't feel like you're wearing anything. It's quite expensive, so I hesitated to buy it for a few years, but I wish I had bought it sooner.

The tool set included in this year's Make Up For Ever coffret was also incredibly comfortable to use, and the next thing I wanted was a kabuki brush. I ordered it with points back from Beauty Day. It's the best kabuki-type brush I've ever used! I use it for applying face powder. The bristles are just the right length, dense and bouncy, and the smooth feel on the skin allows it to fit snugly into even the smallest areas without feeling too thick. Just swirl it around, and the powder spreads evenly and evenly without any technique. It even fills in pores. Applying powder with a long-handled brush feels effortless and glides smoothly over the skin, so I find it perfect for using this brush to set the foundation, then lightly applying shading and blush with the long-handled brush. It's portable, but it doesn't come with a case, so I carry it in a small ziplock bag. I wish they had a cute case. Make Up For Ever brushes are incredibly easy to use, feel great on the skin, and produce a beautiful finish that's addictive.
