I'm raising the rating of this post from 2 stars to 5 stars on December 23, R6. I couldn't stand the scent when I opened it, so I wrapped it in plastic wrap, but then I found that my regular soap bubble soap wasn't moisturizing enough, so I opened the plastic wrap. The scent had pretty much vanished. I tried it and was amazed at how moisturizing it left my skin after washing. Now I use it for my body and face. It makes me want to try Avène's cream, too. Previous post ↓↓↓ The moment I opened the box, I couldn't stand the smell (powdery-like?) I thought I'd bought it, so I washed my armpits and feet with it, even though it seemed like a bit of a stretch. It seems to be mild, so I'm relieved it didn't itch, but I still can't stand the scent. I don't want to waste it, so I'm wrapping it in plastic wrap and planning to give it to my sister. I wish it didn't have any fragrance...

I use it in the morning. It doesn't make my skin feel tight after washing my face.

I used this on a particularly rough day. I was looking for a gentle cleanser for someone with extremely dry skin and eczema, and I bought this. The bottom line: it moisturizes without blemishes! I'm grateful for this soap. It didn't irritate my irritated skin, and it didn't sting. I thought my skin might feel tight after rinsing, but instead it was moisturizing and soothed my skin. I think it's perfect for everyday use, as well as for skin emergencies. I'd like to keep it on hand as a talisman.

It doesn't dry out my skin! It improves my skin condition! I've always had trouble with dryness with any bar soap, but Avène soap doesn't dry out my skin, probably because it contains beeswax. The scent was strong at first, but once I got used to it, I actually liked it.

This soap contains hot spring water and can be used from 3 months of age. It's incredibly gentle! It leaves your baby's skin feeling moisturized, even when it's dry. It has a subtle fragrance, and by the time you're done rinsing, the scent is gone. It's also great value for money. When wearing makeup, I thoroughly cleanse, wash, and then use this Avène Rich Wash Bar for a light finishing wash, which has made it so much more comfortable. It's not a return to basics, but when I'm not seeing results from my skincare routine, I think it might be a good idea to change my perspective a little, change my mood, and take a little risk from my usual routine. I plan to enjoy this challenge while keeping my physical condition in mind.
