Kiehl’s Rare Earth Toner, 250ml

My T-zone is oily all year round, so I use this just on my T-zone, even in winter. It tightens my skin and leaves me with a refreshing, cooling feeling after application, which feels great. I've tried a lot of lotions for oily skin, but this is my favorite. If I apply it with my hands, it can turn white when it dries, so I apply it to a cotton pad before using.

This product doesn't seem to get very good reviews, but it suits my skin very well! (I have combination skin, not oily skin). However, I only use it in the summer, and people with dry skin or in the winter use different products. After washing my face in the morning in the summer, I quickly wipe it off with this and then use lotion. It's refreshing and I feel like it wipes away any remaining dirt, so it's very useful! I use it every day for the whole summer and I usually finish one bottle, so I'll buy it again next summer!

It's not a cleansing lotion, nor is it a hot spring water like Avène, which you can't use up until the very end. This product can be easily and gently wiped away with a cotton pad, making it perfect for the hot weather we're experiencing now, and even after it gets hotter! Unlike alcohol, which tightens the skin, the citric acid gives it a subtle refreshing feeling. So, even if I'm concerned about oily and dusty skin on my face on a day off morning, when I can't wash it right away, it feels just as ideal as I expected. It looks like it will become a must-have item from now on.
