M.A.C Fix+ (Matte), 100ml

I bought this online last year because it had good reviews, but it wasn't quite right for me. It was okay in the spring, fall, and winter, but I didn't feel it was very effective in early summer or when the heat started to set in, so I bought a different brand and use that instead. The spray nozzle also gets clogged if you don't wipe it every time, and if you don't use a needle to remove the clogged, hardened part, the spray comes out in a sloppy mess.

I'm considering buying it again. It contains powder, so shake well before use. It's a lotion that leaves a smooth finish after application, so it doesn't affect your makeup, and it's good to apply after makeup. However, the particles are not as fine as Clarins, so be careful when applying. It's relatively cheap for the volume, so it's good value for money.

I was surprised that it really didn't come off. I used to worry about my makeup coming off when I sweated profusely on the way to work. I'd never used a fix mist before, so I went to the store intending to buy MAC's regular fix mist, which Hiro Odagiri recommended on YouTube to prevent makeup from coming off. While talking with the beauty advisor, she recommended this matte type, so I bought it. Rather than spraying it directly on my face, I was taught to spray it onto a tissue and apply it to my T-zone like blotting paper, so I now use it after applying my makeup. Of course, I sweat, but it stayed on much better after using it than before, and my makeup remained matte and smooth for a long time. If I use it all over my face, it loses its shine, so I think it's best to use it on just a few spots. I think I'll get through the summer with this!

It's as good as rumored. I've only been using it for a short time, but it doesn't seem to come off. I haven't used it on the night shift yet, so I'm looking forward to it.

I bought this because I want to keep my makeup matte in the summer. I love how it keeps my makeup in place.
