Plus Pure VC10, 10ml

I used two bottles. This serum contains 10% vitamin C. It's a clear, smooth, oil-like liquid that gives off a slight, tingly warmth when applied to the skin. I used it up in about a month, so I felt a warmth right down to the end and there was no discoloration. While many VC serums are heavy and oily, this one has a light, smooth finish. However, when I looked at the ingredients, I was surprised to see that it was packed with essential oils. The scent is natural and bitter citrus. It's rare to see an "expiration date" listed, even though it's made in Japan. One thing I noticed was that the dropper design tended to drip even without any special care (the top wasn't squishy). I occasionally spilled some in the bathroom, which was a bit of a waste. I used it all up, but I'm not sure about its whitening or pore-enhancing effects. Obagi C10 Serum is probably the most well-known high-concentration VC serum of this type. I was looking at Obagi and thought it was a pretty high-end product, but Plus Pure is more expensive even though the amount is smaller...! (Obagi is 4,400 yen for 12ml, this is 5,500 yen for 10ml) Obagi is cheaper and somehow has the security of a major brand, so if I were to buy this kind of product in the future, I think I would choose Obagi.

It's smooth and almost transparent, so it's easy to use. The Vitamin C smell isn't too strong.

[Plus Kirei/Plus Pure VC10] I love the thick texture, how it spreads and blends well with the skin. It feels oily, but it blends in quickly! I love it and it doesn't feel cakey even when I use it before applying makeup. I recommend using it within a month, so it's the perfect size. I recommend storing it in a cool, dark place.
