Neal’s Yard Remedies Frankincense Intense Eye Cream, 15g

I used it in combination with the Lift Serum, and I felt a firmness in my skin. However, when I used it in the morning before applying makeup, it crumbled. It seems like it will be a little heavy from now on. The ingredients are also high in oil, so there may be compatibility issues.

I'm a big fan of Neal's Yard's Intense Cream, so I decided to try their eye cream. Even with the same product, Neal's Yard's textures tend to change with each purchase, so I had given up on the idea (whether it's the official product or a parallel import), thinking, "It's organic, so storage conditions and other factors must be a factor." The eye cream I got was a bit hard, and it didn't absorb easily into my skin. Since it's around my eyes, I'm reluctant to touch it for too long to let it absorb. Perhaps because of this, I didn't notice much effect, and if anything, it felt like my skin was getting hard. I've tried various things, like warming it up or spreading it on my fingers, but after using it for a month and a half, I don't think I'll buy it again.

I used the entire Frankincense series sample and was surprised by how much it improved my complexion and radiance, as I wasn't expecting much. The Frankincense series lotion, cream, and serum are all highly rated, but this one is poor value for money, so perhaps that's why. The eye cream is even thicker and thicker than the cream, and I squeezed out a sample and used it, and it was great. It spreads well, too. Frankincense is a tree that survives harsh deserts, and this series is recommended for mature skin, focusing on its restorative powers. It's perfect for me. The slightly distinctive woody scent is also soothing.

At first, I only used it as an eye cream. I thought it would last many times longer than regular eye creams, so I decided to try applying it to my marionette lines and nasolabial folds. I noticed noticeable marionette lines on the left side of my face, so I had been using Shiseido's Pure Retinol. I stopped using it and started using this, and my marionette lines dramatically improved. The day after I started using it, a female teacher of the same age, who speaks Italian, was amazed and said, "The wrinkles on the left side of my face are gone and they're looking better!" As instructed in the instructions for the organic Sicilian Algital, simply applying anti-wrinkle cream serums in a clockwise direction in the Northern Hemisphere made a big difference. But once I started using this eye cream, my skin improved. I then applied Frankincense Intense Serum to my marionette lines, nasolabial folds, and around my eyes, and then applied this Frankincense Intense Eye Cream. I was surprised to see how shallow my marionette lines were, and now they're completely unnoticeable. I realized the power of frankincense. Using a cleansing facial cleanser also made a difference. I switched to the rose cleanser, but it didn't work as well. So I went back. I use the rose cleanser to remove any residue left from clay masks. It's great for wrinkles around my eyes, as well as for nasolabial folds and marionette lines that I haven't seen any other way. I can't use pure retinol anymore. I can apply it all the way down to my mouth with the same amount of eye cream. I've learned the incredible power of plants. Speaking of which, I rarely get "likes" on Neal's Yard cosmetics, not just from myself but from other people too. I tried it on someone else and they did, but I haven't checked since then, so I'll see how it goes. Until 2016, I got a ton of likes. I guess it's because Neal's Yard is a British cosmetics brand.
