It's a moist, fine powder. The first evening I used it, my daughter said, "Your face feels so smooth," and "Did you do something?" The finish was so beautiful. The makeup lasts well. In winter, it tends to wrinkle a little, so I can't laugh about it.

I bought Estée Lauder's Double Wear Stay-in-Place Matte Powder Foundation in Ivory Nude as a treat to myself!!! Just as you'd expect from Double Wear, it thoroughly covers pores and uneven skin tone with one application, without leaving a powdery feeling (ﾟﾛﾟ屮)屮!!! It has a matte finish, but doesn't feel thick, and I love that it makes my skin look smooth and even. Ivory Nude isn't too yellow, and is a color that blends naturally with Japanese skin, so you can't go wrong with it (´▽)!! It gives a neat look, so it's easy to use for work makeup or for slightly more formal occasions. It doesn't smudge over time, and keeps my skin feeling smooth until the evening!!! It's a little pricey, but it was the perfect foundation to reward myself for all my hard work (´ )

I was looking for a matte powder and was recommended a powder foundation that doesn't flake even on dry skin, regardless of brand. The puff that came with it is hard to apply and flakes... I've only used it once, so it's a shame, but I don't think I'll ever need it again.

To sum up my impressions after using it, it feels incredibly thick and uneven. I was using LANCOME liquid foundation, but I was running out of it, and after purchasing an Estée Lauder primer, I wanted to get my foundation from Estée Lauder as well. I'd used liquid foundation before, so I wanted to try powder foundation for the first time in a while, so I bought this. The included puff is as difficult to use as the reviews say, so even when I purchased a separate puff and brush and applied it to my skin, it still felt thick and uneven. Maybe I'm just not good at it... I don't think I'll be able to get the hang of it. It was expensive, so I'd like to use it somehow, but I'll consider buying a different foundation.
