I also own four other lipsticks: 215 French Blush and 340 Lovers Whispers. First of all, in terms of color, Lancôme lipsticks suit me perfectly. They blend in perfectly, as if they were custom-made, and they subtly accentuate and brighten my face. I've been using them for 20 years, and I think they're unbeatable, especially when it comes to beige lipsticks. I picked out this L'Absolu lipstick from the shelves and bought four in a row. It's great! The color is really good (tears) and it doesn't dry out my skin. The only problem (tears) is that it's so soft, it breaks easily. Maybe that's why you should use a lipstick brush! It might not be a problem for those who live a careful life. But don't you ever apply it quickly? Over time, it starts to crack, break, and then one day it snaps (tears). Of course, it's my favorite lipstick, so I transfer it exactly to the case and use it. This is the first time in my long life that a default lipstick has broken. So, although the quality and color are excellent, I gave it four stars for that reason alone.

I recommend this lipstick to anyone looking for a subtle matte lipstick. It's perfectly balanced. My lower lip is thick and dull, so a dark, glossy lipstick tends to stand out. This season also causes dryness and peeling. I usually use lip liner (NARS 9071.9072) to cover up any uneven color and then layer on lipstick or gloss as needed, which I'm happy with. However, it tends to come off after I apply it before work to hydrate or after lunch. When I'm short on time, I can't devote time to lip makeup, so I wanted something a little easier to enjoy without worrying about color fading, and that's why I started looking for a matte lipstick. I had high hopes for Lancôme, having had a good experience with their serums and powders, and in the end, their lipsticks are just as good! I'm very satisfied. It has a subtle rose-like scent upon application, which can be a bit overpowering when wearing a mask, but I got used to it after using it a few times. Personal preference depends on the individual. The texture is light, like a slightly powdery crayon. I lightly blotted it with a tissue, applied a second coat, and blended it with a brush. Even a rough application is fine. It's exactly the ease I was looking for. The color fades when I eat or drink, but not too much, so it's natural. It doesn't accentuate vertical wrinkles or cause any peeling, and it leaves my lips feeling smooth throughout. It doesn't moisturize my lips, but it doesn't strip them of moisture either, so it feels like my lips are just as they are. Since I couldn't find many reviews or videos, I had a bit of trouble narrowing down the shade, but 210 is a well-balanced beige, not too bold or too rough, and a cute color that was perfect for my first bottle. (I'm already wanting a second one...) I love the frosted-glass-like texture of the case, and the click-top opening to remove the lipstick feels like a secret gadget! It's so much fun... A cute lip case makes it fun to carry around, fun to share with friends, and fun to use. (I also recommend the Dries Van Noten lip case.) Combined with the quality of the product itself, it's a lip product that you'll grow to love.
