(Limited Sale) GUERLAIN Terracotta Concealer (1.5N)

This is my first time using Guerlain concealer. I love concealers, so I was curious about this one. It's comfortable to wear. The concealer liquid feels more liquid than other concealers I've used, so it doesn't build up too thickly. It's easy to spread, adheres well, and has good coverage. It's also great that it doesn't smudge, even in the evening. It does have a scent, but I only apply it around my eyes, so it doesn't really affect my results. I'd like to continue using it once the flaws have gone away, but it's over 7,000 yen, so it's pretty difficult to repurchase... Also, despite it being such a good concealer, the container is a bit tricky to use. It requires quite a bit of force to dispense the tip, and I have to pull it... The first time I dispensed, the concealer splashed everywhere... It looks stylish, but it felt like a 100-yen store product. I'm not sure why they chose this. I think they should improve this aspect.

This is my first Guerlain purchase. It's a brand I've always admired, but it always seemed out of reach. The reason I chose Guerlain's concealer was because I was attracted to the claim that it was "made with 95% natural ingredients." It's worth the splurge, and the results are pretty good. The distinctive Guerlain scent is quite strong. It's a noble and elegant scent, so I think those who like that will enjoy it. I used 0.5N and was pleased with the feel. Considering the cost-effectiveness, I'd rate it a 3.

I was new to the Guerlain brand, so I happened to be recommended it by a sales associate and asked for a touch-up. At first, I told them I was looking for a powder, but I ended up buying their famous oil and a concealer that I fell in love with at first sight! (I ended up buying the powder later.) I have fair, naturally firm skin, and I've been complimented on it, but I have incredibly dry skin, which I get in desert climates. So, makeup wear is inevitable. Even a thin layer is powdery, and touch-ups are a bit much. However, this concealer lasted for five hours! Even in the scorching heat of 3 PM, my skin looked amazing until 9 PM! (They tried a few different products, but the oil, concealer, and powder were enough for those with sensitive, dry, or red skin, in my opinion.) I also went with my mother, who is in her late 50s, and we were both blown away by the results. My mother likes natural makeup and is prone to redness, but with foundation, concealer and a little powder she looked beautiful for over five hours.

A small amount provides good coverage, but it didn't cover dark spots... But since a small amount is all you need, I think it's good value for money. It tones up and gives a glossy finish. I wish I had bought it right away...

As others have written, the brush part is difficult to remove when opening the lid. I didn't realize this when I first opened it, and when I pulled it out with too much force, a little bit got on my hand, so it took a lot of force lol. It was fine because I was able to wipe it off and use it up, but... it feels really good! This is the first time I've bought a pricey concealer, and maybe it's worth the price after all? I use it around my eyes, and with drugstore cosmetics, when I apply it to dark circles, it often ends up looking like reptile skin, but this time it didn't happen, and I was impressed with how well it blended in and didn't break down! As expected, it did fade by the evening without any touch-ups, but it was good enough that I'd like to save up points and buy it again. Since I have tanned skin, 1N might be good next time.
