How To Use

<For defined, three-dimensional eyes> 1. Use the included tip to apply the shades from the outer edge of your eye to the middle of your eyelid, starting with the darkest shade. 2. To finish, use the included brush to lightly apply the highlighter shade from under your eyebrow to the middle, creating a beautiful gradation. <For soft, three-dimensional eyes> 1. Use the included brush to apply the highlighter shade to the entire eyelid. 2. Use the included tip to apply the shades from the center of your eyelid to the outer edge of your eye, starting with the lightest shade. We also recommend applying the deep shade to the outer corner of your eye and the light and highlight shades to your lower eyelid.

I bought 01 Layered Brown. I was torn between pink and brown, but since I'm warm-toned, I ended up with brown. The color payoff was good and not as dark as I expected, and I was able to adjust the color by using or not using one of the two middle colors. I like how you can create a gradation without any technique by simply applying the darkest color first. Since it's a mineral eyeshadow, it's moisturizing and I have sensitive skin, so I can use it without any rashes. My only concern is that it tends to come off easily, probably because I use eye drops frequently. Other than that, I'm happy with it, but it's expensive, so I'd be happy if it came in a refill.

I think the concept is great. Layering the shades in the correct order (counterclockwise) creates a gradation. It's easy to apply without any technique. The powder quality is good, so there's no flakes. 02 Layered Rose glitter isn't too flashy, giving it an elegant finish. It's also good for office wear. The brown undertone isn't too dark, making it easy to control. This is a pink shadow palette with a grayish tone overall. However, on my eyelids, the main pink was more reddish than I expected, making them look a little puffy. I would have preferred a lighter pink. This eyeshadow has a very small amount of the darkest undertone. I'm sure the compact was designed with the understanding that since this is a undertone, people wouldn't use as much as the other shades, but I personally think it's too small. The black case also tends to attract fingerprints, which is a bit of a concern, as it tends to get dirty with use.

It's an exquisite color and I've been using it a lot lately.

I have pigmentation around my eyes, so I wanted to avoid further pigmentation and was looking for a gentle eyeshadow. I have a similar shade from etvos. I researched etvos' pink (French Fig), but nothing suited me. Then I ended up buying a similar shade from Koh Gen Do. I bought it because someone wrote in a review that it was a pink with orange in it, and I thought orange would look good on me. When I first applied it, it didn't look right, but once I applied it all, it was just the right color—not too dark or too light—and blended into a pink that suits me. The glitter isn't too flashy, so I think it's perfect for mature women. It doesn't flake off. I was able to wear it all day without any skin problems. As expected from Koh Gen Do! I hope they release more shades.
