ADDICTION The Eyeshadow Palette+ (008 Miss Mauve)

It's been a while since I last bought a department store eyeshadow. I've always wanted Addiction. The affordable ones are great, but the elegant container makes me happy just to have them. I chose the beige shade, which I thought would be useful. The color was lighter than I expected, but it developed deeper when applied with my fingers. The powder is good and the glitter doesn't come off, so it's an eyeshadow that can be used for a variety of occasions, from work to play. I'd like to buy the apricot next.

011 Suntan Camel is my favorite of all Addiction eyeshadows. It's a surefire easy-to-use color for warm undertones (including cool winter undertones). This camel shade makes the skin appear whiter and more translucent than warm browns. It was released a while ago, but the recent light application makes it versatile enough to be used as a skin-tone shading eyeshadow. The brown on the bottom left is not reddish or flashy, and the finishing color is truly camel. The orange on the top right adds a little brightness, and the cool glitter adds light...it's elegant. There are a lot of brown and pink combinations this season, but I've already seen that look and I'm getting tired of it.

The beige color blends in naturally, yet is very elegant. The slightly different colors and pearls allow for different ways to enjoy it. I splurged a little, but it lasts well and I'm very happy!

I was planning to buy either 001 Vintage Tutu or 002 Cashmere Dream from the eyeshadow palette, so I tried them out in the store, but when I tried 005 Marriage Bow on my hand, I thought the coral pink was so pretty that I ended up buying Marriage Bow, which I hadn't planned on. However, all the colors have a beautiful pearlescent finish, and the glitter-like color on the top left has a subtle shimmer that makes it suitable for work, so I'm glad I bought it and didn't throw away any colors.

I was searching for a palette with just glitter and pearls, but the colors weren't too bold, and I was about to give up, thinking I'd have to create a palette by combining individual colors... when I found 2024 Holiday! Since it was so late, it wasn't available in official stores, so I bought Tinted Glass from Suzykirei (it was amazing that they had it in stock). As you'd expect from ADDICTION, all the colors are sparkly and super cute. I'd say the purple on the bottom right is the highlight color. Not only is it cute, but it's also transparent, just like the series' "Through the Glass" name suggests, and has a mature cuteness to it (that's old-fashioned, I know). The colors may be light, but the glitter and pearls are surprisingly well-applied, making it glamorous enough to be used for office makeup. I don't mind the glitter coming off. You can use this palette on its own, or add a touch of glamour to your existing eyeshadows, so it seems like it's easy to reuse◎
