SHISEIDO Sponge Puff (Water Only) 112

I recently saw a Shiseido beauty consultant post on social media about using it with Benefique Ice Essence 0, so I bought it. I use Benefique Ice Essence 0 every summer. This sponge is very hard when dry, but soaking it in plenty of water quickly makes it soft and bouncy. Once it's soft and bouncy, it becomes soft enough to easily fold in half, as shown in the third image attached. (Many other reviews have pointed out that it's hard, but this may be because it wasn't soaked in plenty of water.) To make it soft and bouncy, I think it's enough to hold the sponge under running water, soak it in water, and wring it out about 15 times. After lightly wringing it out when it was soft and bouncy, I sprayed Benefique Ice Essence 0 on it and tapped it over my foundation. The bouncy texture felt comfortable on my skin, and it felt cool and refreshing. It stopped me from sweating, tightened my pores, and my foundation adhered beautifully, and it didn't break down as easily as usual! I plan to use it every morning in the summer. Its intended use is for applying foundation with water. It comes with a soft case. Dimensions: 79 x 51 mm. Material: PVA (high-quality water-based sponge). If it gets dirty, you can wash it with Shiseido sponge cleaner. Made in Malaysia.

When I got it wet, it was watery and difficult to apply, and the liquid type didn't blend in with my skin.

I bought this to use with the 2-way foundation with water. I was reluctant to put the damp sponge in the same case as the foundation after use. The only thing that didn't suit me was that the texture (?) was rough and it made it difficult to apply the foundation evenly to my skin. It also seemed like the foundation would come off as I patted it to spread it. I've found a sponge that can be used in both ways, so I'll try to find a different purpose for it.
