I won a prize in a beauty magazine survey and received a gift in the mail. I thought I'd give it a try. Upon researching, I discovered it was a Marikwa primer, released last spring. I was a little hesitant to try it, wondering if it would work for my dry, 50-year-old skin. Surprisingly, it turned out to be a great finish. It's an ivory-colored primer with a toning effect. It also does a great job of blurring pores. The sagging pores on my cheeks became completely invisible. In fact, I thought maybe I don't even need foundation! So I patted on Mirakore Powder over the primer, and it gave me naturally beautiful skin. The staying power, which I was concerned about, stayed on well into the evening. I didn't notice any pore sagging or anything like that. It was a primer that suited my skin much better than I expected. I'd always thought of Marikwa as a brand for younger people, but now I'm open to trying anything without preconceived notions. Marikuwa's packaging is simple yet cute with a sophisticated monochrome look. I wonder if I should check out their foundation? When I was in my twenties, I used to buy Marikuwa bags, pouches, and clothes. This foundation gave me a glimpse of the quality of Marikuwa's cosmetics.
