Paul & Joe Beaute Smoothing Foundation Primer SPF30, 30ml

I was curious and decided to give it a try. I have oily skin, so I bought this product with the aim of making sure my makeup would last. Even when my skin feels a little sticky after using lotion and emulsion in the morning, it leaves my skin smooth and silky with just a pearl-sized amount, which I was really pleased with! I checked the condition every two hours, and even with a mask on, it didn't break out much, so I'm very happy! It seems to work even better without a mask! I haven't had any breakouts, so I plan to keep buying it! I could have used the foundation I already have, but it paired well with the liquid foundation from the same manufacturer that I received as a tester, so I'd like to use the foundation set with it once it runs out!

I think this is the perfect primer for summer! I received a sample at the store the other day, and when I used it, I was so impressed that I immediately purchased the actual product. It doesn't spread easily on the skin unless you spread it quickly, so it takes some skill to use properly, but if you prepare your skin thoroughly with this primer and apply a little less foundation than usual, your skin will look amazing. And best of all, your makeup won't come off! It leaves your skin feeling smooth, even around your nose, which is a common problem, and I'm looking forward to using this primer effectively this summer. I want it again next year...

I can't let it go! I saw it in a store last summer and just bought it. At first, I used this primer and sunscreen (Anessa Day Serum) separately and didn't really feel like they were that great. But then one day, I mixed them together in a 1:1 ratio and it created a primer that was just the right amount of smooth and easy to apply! Personally, it's the most comfortable to use of any makeup primer or sunscreen I've ever used. I use it in the fall and winter, changing the mixing ratio depending on how dry or sticky my skin feels, and mixing it with other primers. It's not the intended use, so I can't recommend it to everyone, but it's made my life so much easier by eliminating the need to worry about buying new primers. I'm so glad I bought it.

I was struggling with oily skin this summer, so I found this and bought it. The texture is a little firm. In the summer, my skin gets oily within 10 minutes of going outside, but when I used this, the oiliness didn't bother me until after noon, and when I touched up my makeup during my lunch break, all I had to do was lightly dust on powder, so I think it definitely had a suppressing effect! However, when I applied foundation over this, it became gritty and didn't give a very nice finish. (I used RMK liquid foundation.) Incidentally, when I used Paul & Joe's See-Through Veil Compact, the foundation went on beautifully. It seems that the primer and foundation are compatible with each other. I think the standard Protecting Primer or Moisturizing Primer would be easier to use, so I decided not to repurchase... sobs

I think this is a product that divides opinion. I'm not exaggerating when I say, "I wonder how many other people out there have oily skin like me?" But as soon as I apply this, my skin becomes so smooth it feels like a whole new person. It's so smooth that it practically makes a "smooth...smooth..." sound when I touch it, and it feels like my pores have been filled in! It also smooths out unevenness. I was originally looking for a primer with the unreasonable criteria of being glycerin-free, zinc oxide-free, with sunscreen, and oil-fighting properties, and I was so excited to have found the perfect product! I bought it. And since it felt like the product I used above, I was overjoyed, thinking I could use it forever! But... I used it in the morning, went to work, and immediately attended a two-hour meeting, and when I looked in the mirror afterwards... My skin became so oily and shiny that I even said "Wow!" (I'm used to being shiny, so I was surprised (I'm not sure if I moisturized it enough...) This base absorbed a lot of sebum as soon as I applied it, so maybe my skin worked even harder to produce more sebum (which means my battle with sebum will never end). People who are a little on the oily side of skin might like it, but if you have extremely oily skin like me, be prepared to be disappointed when you try it.
