It's a truly magical balm that feels just like mochi. It moisturizes while blurring pores. I was worried about my nasolabial folds, so I bought this hoping it would help to disguise them even a little! It certainly helps prevent foundation buildup and makes skin look beautiful! I bought it last winter and let it sit for the summer. When I opened the lid after six months, it was down to about half the volume! The moisture had evaporated and it had shrunk and become a hard balm. I don't want to waste it, so I'm still using it, but it's better to use it sooner!

I had them use it when I had my touch-up done, and it applied my foundation beautifully, so I bought it. It's a wonderful base and moisturizing cream that's chewy and crumbles easily, but spreads well. The scent is Shu's signature cypress scent, and it has a strong silicone feel, so if you apply too much, it may flake off easily. I think it's best to apply it locally to areas where you're concerned about pores or skin tone. If you apply it thinly, the foundation applies beautifully and doesn't dry out.

I wish I'd bought it sooner. It looks like a chewy balm? gel?, but when you spread it on your hands, it has a strange texture that feels like an oil? cream? I use it in the following order: serum → this → sunscreen → foundation. It's basically considered skincare. In fact, it seems to replace cream in my nighttime skincare routine, and it's notable for its moisturizing properties. However, it has zero SPF, so you'll need to use a separate sunscreen. My makeup no longer dries out and breaks down, and in fact it lasts longer and my morning base makeup finishes beautifully, so for me it's all good things.

This is a must-have during the dry winter months. I was so impressed after the beauty advisor gave me a touch-up that I immediately purchased it. It covers pores and fine irregularities on the skin, and it's also great when my skin is dry and foundation won't stick. I have sensitive skin, so when I use products that cover pores like this, they clog my pores and I get acne right away, but this product doesn't. (It's expensive, so it's worth it.) I recommend it.
