CLARINS Joli Rouge Satin (737 Spicy Cinnamon)

I bought this too, hoping to accumulate points quickly. Until then, I'd only used tinted lipsticks and Lip Monster, and it had been years since I'd bought a proper lipstick, lol, so I was left with the impression that this was about what I'd expect. The color is more intense than lipstick, and it looks neat. The shine is subdued, and it didn't feel too drying. I'm not sure if the color lasts long or not, but it does come off, and I feel like it lasts if you layer it a few times. (Lip Monster seems to have better color retention.) As an aside, I really like the feel and color retention of the renewed Water Lip Stain (already reviewed), which suits my tastes, so I hardly ever use this one anymore. I don't think I'll be repurchasing it.

This is my first time using Clarins lipstick. I purchased 752. For reference, my personal color is cool winter, and I barely have a base color on my lips. It's more like a bland, almost purple-ish color (similar to Fujiki from Chibi Maruko-chan, lol). The counter tried 752 and 737 on me, and 737 was a vibrant, vibrant reddish-brown. I think it's perfect for this season. However, it was too dark for me, making my lips look out of place, so I had them try 752, which I liked at first sight. At first glance, it looks pale and muted, but when you actually apply it, it's a rose-like shade close to pink that's neither too bright nor too dark. That said, it's not too cutesy, and I thought it would be easy to wear. I realized after I bought it that it might be similar to Lip Monster's Pink Banana. It applies very smoothly and glides on smoothly. It's neither matte nor glossy. The beauty advisor said it was a glossy type, but I feel like it's lacking in the current gloss trend. If you look closely, you can see a slight pearly sparkle, but it's almost invisible when applied to the lips. With products that don't suit me, the edges of my lips can feel irritated, but this doesn't cause that and it doesn't dry out my lips. In my case, the color lasts much the same as other products. It doesn't come off at all if I'm just talking, but it almost completely comes off after eating. I also have Lip Monster's Pink Banana, so I thought maybe layering it would make a difference! It also has a slight lipstick scent. It fades quickly, but it's not completely fragrance-free. The color is cute, so I think I'll keep using it for a while, but if I had to say, I wish it was one size? No, two sizes smaller.

This lipstick has a sweet scent. I love using this color when I go out casually with friends. It has an oily feel, so it doesn't dry out my lips, even though I tend to get chapped and dry lips easily.
