Neal’s Yard Remedies Vitamin E & Avocado Night Cream, 50g

It's rated so poorly... but this is my favorite cream. When I was younger, I kind of admired Neal's Yard, which was a bit of a down-market store in Shinsaibashi. Avène's Hydrance Optimal Light cream always suited me, but it's been discontinued. Suddenly, I remembered those days and bought this cream. I wanted moisturizing but didn't want it to feel sticky. This has a matte finish, is reasonably moisturizing, and the ingredients are safe. Any minor skin irritation seems to calm down after applying this and sleeping. However, considering oxidation, moisture retention, and the finish of foundation, it's probably not the best for me in the morning. I've been paying more attention to the total amount of glycerin in my pore treatments lately, but this cream seems to have fewer negative effects and more benefits. It's my go-to cream for the night.

If you apply lotion or other products before the moisture has evaporated, they won't spread. It's a hassle to have to wait until the moisture has completely evaporated before applying them. So, I usually use a different cream and then apply this on top of it before going to bed. My skin stays moisturized until morning, but it's not like I need this, so I won't be buying it again.

I like this brand, and this time I had my mother (in her late 60s), who has sensitive skin, try this cream. It doesn't irritate her skin, and it has a lovely subtle fragrance. It's moisturizing, but it's lightweight for anti-aging. It's more affordable than creams in the main anti-aging line, so I recommend it to those who don't mind something less heavy.

I've been interested in this product for a while. I went to a store to switch to a different product when my skincare product I'd been using for about four months ran out, but I was torn between the variety and scent. It's a bit watery for a night cream (￣^￣). I prefer a firmer texture, so I thought it might not be enough for me, but I used it in the morning and it was quite moisturizing. ♪ The other hydrating cream I bought looks firmer, so I'll alternate between the two for a while to see how they feel. ★ I think effectiveness is the most important thing in skincare, but scent and packaging are also very important to me. lol. I used L'Occitane's Immortelle for years, but after the redesign, the cream became watery, so I gave up. So it's been about 10 years since I last used natural skincare. I was torn between Kiehl's and Neal's Yard, and I read a lot of reviews, but everyone's skin is different... I guess I'll need to stick with it (about 3-6 months) to see results. Each of the four products in the photo has a different scent, but they're so relaxing to use. (´∀｀*)

It's moisturizing, but not too strong, and leaves a dry, refreshing aftertaste. The scent is also gentle and natural.
