I'd never tried ADDICTION mascara before, so I bought it on a whim. It really does lengthen! However, when you use it with ADDICTION's mascara primer and apply it from the roots, it also makes your lashes thicker. If you apply the primer from the roots and the mascara only to the tips, it really adds length, which is great!

004 Ultra Black was the best for me. It gave me just the right amount of length and the curl, which is the most important thing, which is exactly what I was looking for. It's great that it doesn't make my eyes look voluminous, but still frames my eyes. I found out later that it comes off with warm water, so it's easy to remove. It pairs well with my favorite Dior primer, so my current best combination is Dior primer + this mascara. It also pairs well with the Elegance primer. 004 Ultra Black is the best, and since I often use brown mascaras, I also purchased 002 Honey Brunette. It's a lovely color, not too dark a brown. Perhaps because I used a white primer, it has a slightly milk chocolate-like finish. It creates a soft look around the eyes, but Black was by far my favorite.

For me, mascara needs to come off with warm water. I've tried a variety of mascaras, but Clinique alone wasn't enough volume for me, so I settled on this one. This is my fifth repurchase, and I always wish it was a little easier to apply.

I've always been a fan of budget-friendly mascaras, but I found Elegance's wash-off mascara so good that I was looking for it at other department store brands, and then I found it. It gives amazing volume, but it doesn't clump and the liquid gets onto each individual lash. Maybe the brush is good? It doesn't make you look like a panda. It washes off easily with warm water, so your lashes don't fall out. This is the first mascara I've bought in a while that I'm so glad about!
