TWANY Refresh Clear Soap, 120g (Citrus Herb)

I didn't like the smell of Kanebo's Scrubbing Mud Wash and couldn't finish it, but this has a similar texture and a better smell. It's like dish soap, but it has a scrub in it, so I use it on my nose or just on the sides of my nose when I'm worried about roughness. It doesn't leave my skin feeling tight after washing, so it's pretty good.

I received a sample when I purchased the serum and used it. Even though you only need a small amount, it lathers up nicely and creates a very pleasant, fluffy foam. I was also surprised at how it felt after washing. My skin became not just one tone, but two tones brighter. My face was always dull, but after just one use, I was amazed at the amazing change. I'll be buying this again. I recommend it.

This cleanser leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth without feeling tight. It's my favorite cleanser, and I think I'll be using it from spring through fall. Last summer, I used KANEBO's Scrubbing Mud Wash, which also thoroughly cleansed without drying out my skin. I thought it was a popular cleanser, but on some days the scrub was too big and painful. Then, by chance, I received a sample of this Towany cleanser. Both KANEBO and Towany scrubs have two different usage methods: a regular lathering cleanser or a direct application first. Perhaps they're similar because they're both part of the Kanebo family. So, when I tried the sample, the scrub was finer than KANEBO's, didn't feel painful, and left my skin feeling refreshed. This was it!!! I decided to buy the full product. ■Comparative Cleansing Performance: From my experience, the two products are about the same, but since KANEBO is a clay paste, KANEBO may be slightly better. However, I think Towany is also sufficient. The packaging: KANEBO's is more stylish. It's a shame that Towany changed its design drastically a few years ago... Scrub Towany is more detailed. Personally, I prefer this Towany product to Scrubbing Mud Wash and find it easier to use. I'll buy it again.

[Addendum] I've continued using this product and have purchased it multiple times, but my rating is higher than it was at first, so I'm raising my rating from 6 to 7. I also own a SUISAI scrub-type face wash, but it's irritating and I can't exfoliate when my skin is in bad condition. This one is almost non-irritating and leaves my skin just as smooth or even more effective. I think this one feels smoother at times because it contains enzymes in addition to the scrub. I heard from a Towany beauty consultant that it contains enzymes. This one is far less irritating and always feels just as effective or even better, so I'm raising my rating! I hope it never runs out! [Review from July 23, 2023] I wanted something that would clear my skin without making it feel tight, so I tried this. The instructions said to apply it directly to your skin and then lather it up, but I tried both. I found that applying it directly to your skin and then lathering it up was more effective at clearing my skin. I noticed that it left my skin feeling smoother. It didn't dry out my skin, didn't leave a sticky feeling after washing, and didn't feel sticky when I rinsed it off, so it was great. I liked it. The method of using it by mixing it with water and lathering it up was... Most scrub products have granules that dissolve and disappear. This one also didn't make my skin feel tight, and although it wasn't the same as washing it directly, it did make my skin smooth. So I think it does have an exfoliating effect. Of course, this one didn't dry out my skin either. It was a good product. I'll buy it again.

I was looking for a different face wash, but the store I went to didn't have it, so the beauty advisor recommended a similar product and I bought it. It lathers well and the foam is firm. You can lather it up or use it as is as it has a scrubbing effect, and I like the citrus scent. It doesn't leave a tight feeling after washing, so I recommend it. I use it in conjunction with a medicated face wash.
