Valentino Beauty V Lighter (01 Rosa), 25ml

It's a glossy makeup base that I mixed with my foundation. It's not too shiny and is easy to use. It's great for when you want to change your mood.

This time of year, I want a glow, so I've been using KOSDECO's primer. It was my first time using this brand, but the reviews were pretty good, so I found a great value set and bought it. KOSDECO is meant to be used on the entire face, but when I first used this on my entire face, it looked completely white (lol), so I applied it to the bridge of my nose, forehead, and cheeks instead. In winter, matte skin makes you look older, so this gave me a refined, radiant complexion. I also use highlighter, but my skin is extremely dry in winter, so it would sometimes break down, so it's great to be able to use it as a primer.

Thank you for the expensive makeup base, which I would never have been able to afford myself. I first learned about Valentino Beauty when I won a prize. It's an Italian brand. Apparently, it arrived in Japan in March 2022. It's quite recent, so I'm surprised! First of all, the packaging is stylish! The bright red cap with a gold logo exudes luxury, and just seeing it on my desk makes me feel good. Maybe it's just me, but doesn't this logo look similar to the ior logo?! I was captivated by the beautiful bottle. This V Lighter can be used as both a makeup base and a selective highlighter. I've been using it as a makeup base. The texture is somewhere between cream and water, and it blends smoothly into the skin. The subtle pink shimmer brightens my complexion and brightens my tone, making my skin look beautiful. The finish is completely different with or without this primer. I have dry skin, so using this keeps my skin moisturized all day. A little goes a long way, so it didn't run out quickly. It contains glitter, but it's not too flashy, giving it an elegant finish. I also tried using it as a highlighter on my cheeks, nose, and forehead, and it left a dewy finish that made my skin look incredibly beautiful. I get compliments on how beautiful my skin looks, glowing from it. I usually only buy drugstore products and don't typically buy department store cosmetics, so I was really impressed with the power of 7,370 yen. It seems the price has gone up since I won, and it's now 8,470 yen... (￣◇￣;) The price is so high I was a bit intimidated, but the experience was amazing, so I wholeheartedly recommend it! I'd like to repurchase, but it's so expensive (how many times am I going to say that?) that I can't easily buy it myself, so I gave it six stars. (Sobs) It's only available in urban locations, so it's not something you can try out casually, but if you're interested, definitely give it a try.

I bought this product after reading reviews, not as a base but as a primer highlighter. After filling in pores with the base, I apply three dots on the high points of my cheeks and between my eyebrows. I have combination skin, so I'm concerned about shine in my T-zone, so I try to cover it up by using the other three dots to make it shine, and this product is very easy to use. It gives your skin a glow that makes it look like it's naturally radiating.

I especially recommend this for those who want a special holiday feel but don't want a "too obvious" look, or for those who want a radiant complexion but don't like powder-based products (powder products can be shiny or dry). I often mix it with my regular primer. I tried mixing it with my existing primers (three, Lancôme, La Roche-Posay) and it didn't dry out or tighten my skin. Even if you don't mix it with your primer, you can apply it over foundation only where needed. The pearl particles are fine, so it doesn't have an excessively shiny effect. While it's not a standard use, mixing a small amount with hand cream and applying it to the back of your hand makes your hands look beautiful. (Is it just me?) The reason I gave it a rating of 1 is because it lacks coverage and sun protection, so I don't think it can be used as a primer on its own (as I'm getting older, both coverage and sun protection are essential).
