I often get my makeup coming off and smudging in my pores, so I consulted with a doctor and was told that it would be good to do a thorough skincare routine in the morning, but when I told him that it felt like my makeup was coming off instead, he recommended this! It's astringent, so it's refreshing and doesn't interfere with my makeup. Since I started using it, my makeup has come off much less easily! I'm really glad I bought it!

I use this in my summer morning skincare routine to prevent pore sagging. It's effective because it doesn't make pore sagging or breakage more noticeable, but it does leave my skin feeling a little dry, so I need to use a morning cream.

Shortly after purchasing Cosme Decorte AQ's pore serum (cleansing oil), I was recommended this product, which has astringent properties to tighten pores. As other users have commented, it does have a strong alcohol smell. I was hesitant because I'd previously experienced stinging with other brands' lotions that had a strong alcohol content. However, after hearing from a beauty advisor who actually used it and applying a cotton ball soaked in the product to the back of my hand and neck, it seemed fine, so I decided to purchase it. I was nervous about applying it to my face for the first time, but the stinging was fine. I don't have sensitive skin. I'm not sure if it was the type of alcohol or other ingredients that caused the problem, but my trust in Cosme Decorte has increased. My method of use is to apply the liposome lotion, then the pre-moisturizing lotion, then lightly pat a cotton ball soaked in this lotion on my nose, cheeks, and between my eyebrows. I've had blackheads for years, so while they haven't completely disappeared, I don't have any gaping pores at the moment. The feeling after use is that the moisture from the lotion definitely penetrates into my skin, but the surface feels smooth, which is strange. It doesn't dry out my skin (not sure about winter). It leaves my skin feeling very flat. It doesn't feel moisturizing, so I think it's better to supplement moisture and oil with other products. I wonder if astringent lotions can reduce the absorption of subsequent skincare products. I should have checked the order of my skincare routine after using this one more carefully. It seems that AQ also has an astringent lotion, although it's a bit pricey. I'm happy with this one, so I don't think I'll switch.
