(Limited Sale) Tom Ford Beauty Shade and Illuminate Concealer (2N0 Cream)

I'm so impressed!!! I have stubborn dark circles that are saggy and sunken... I'd heard that orange concealers were good, so I'd tried my best to combat them, but to no avail. I was worried that such a light color would be enough to cover them, but after reading everyone's reviews, I bought this. The sunken circles disappeared immediately after application, and my skin felt plump and bright!! I've been using it in conjunction with Addiction's coral-colored liquid blush, and it's worked great!! However, dark circles still appear over time, so I'm deducting one star.

I have thin skin and I'm concerned about dark circles, so concealer is essential and I've tried products from many different brands. I wanted coverage, but I didn't want it to accumulate in certain areas of my skin, so I decided to try this highly rated product. As everyone else says, I'm pleased with the coverage. It covers naturally and well. The negative points are: the price - about four times the price of a department store concealer... a steep price, on par with foundation (or even more!?); and the scent - this is probably the first time I've ever smelled a concealer this bad... I wonder if I'll get used to it? I've written a lot about this, but I only use a tiny amount, so I'll consider the cost-effectiveness and buy it again.

It has incredible coverage. It contains glitter, but it's not so large that it gets into pores. It's the whitest, but it's not so white that it leaves a cast. This is my second bottle. I used the first one all year round, and it lasted about a year. However, when it was almost gone, it became dry and dehydrated, so I get the impression that it has an expiration date (?).

It offers high coverage and a beautiful, glossy finish with fine pearls. It's a heavy, rich texture, but it spreads easily. I bought it to cover dark circles, but it didn't achieve a beautiful finish, and I almost regretted my purchase. At first, I dabbed it just on the dark circles with a concealer brush (finger brush), but it cracked over time, and the pearls accentuated my sagging skin, making it look dull. I was disappointed, thinking it was aimed at younger people. It also felt strange that only the dark circles were given a glossy finish with pearls. Later, I tried using this, the heaviest product I own, to cover the fine scabs that spread across my cheeks after self-blemish removal. I used the primer, then this, then the same brand's cushion, then added this to the dark circles with an eyeshadow tip, and the result was amazing! Because it spreads easily, I spread it over a larger area than necessary, but that actually turned out to be a good thing. My skin looks shiny, the dark circles don't stand out, and the coverage is so good that it almost completely covers the dark spots of the scabs. It's amazing. I just needed to apply it to the triangle zone as a highlighter instead of just the dark circles! (I forgot about that because I prefer powder for highlighting ^^;) In my case, it seems that using the eyeshadow tip instead of the brush worked better for me, and that day the lack of firmness in my skin was not noticeable, and there was no dryness or cracking. I recommend it as both a highlighter and a concealer! However, if you're over a certain age, you might want to avoid applying it to your forehead. It makes your forehead pop lol

Tom Ford doesn't have many color charts online, so I did a lot of research and found the perfect shade. My skin is ochre-toned and about "normal" in tone. I'm neither fair nor dark. Clé de Peau's Ochre 10 is my perfect skin tone. I chose 0C0 Bare, which gave me a slight brightening, which was just right. The subtle pearlescent notes really help to hide imperfections. My skin looks the best it's ever looked! It makes my skin look flatter, or rather, smoother, in a good way, which I was really impressed with. I really like it, but there are some downsides. Personally, the square container is a bit bulky and difficult to carry around. It does have a luxurious feel, though. Also, the tip comes with a lot of product, so I applied a lot of it at first, which made a huge mess. lol It spreads really well and has good coverage, so I think the trick to a beautiful application is to apply a little and then spread it thinly. It's pricey, but overall I recommend it! If you're a concealer enthusiast, you should definitely give this a try.
