(Limited Sale) Brilliage Makeup Base Face Responsor Plus SPF50, 33g

I purchased this together with a primer from the same brand. Looking at this alone, I'm not sure if I'll buy it again, but when used with the primer, I think it gives just the right finish. The color is a subtle pink with a hint of white. I wanted a little more radiance, so I added a little bit of KOSDECO base on top in certain areas. Maybe just the right amount is just right. It doesn't feel overpowering and is easy to use. I also like how it leaves a smooth feeling after application. I've seen comments about it getting into pores, but that didn't happen to me. Maybe it's thanks to the primer. I'll decide whether to buy it again once I've finished the whole bottle.

Honestly, the first time I used it, I was a bit disappointed. It felt dry and brittle, so I skipped it for a while and used Chacott's pink moisturizing primer. (Chacott is good too.) Then, after watching a makeup video by Chiaki Shimada of Brilliage, I bought a primer that looked good, so I used it again, thinking it would work well with the brand. Honestly, right after application, I thought it was just average. After a while... it felt beautiful! I think it was probably the synergy of the combination, but it brightened my skin tone and made it incredibly radiant. No dullness! I pinpointed my stubborn dark blemishes and freckles with Chevrolet concealer, and applied a very thin layer of Covermark Flawless Fit to even out uneven skin tone. If you don't have any of those formidable skin problems, I think this primer alone will do the trick (lol). So, as a recent trend, I wetted a Brilliage sponge and dabbed on YSL Make Me Blush Liquid in 54, again in a very thin layer. Even without powder anywhere except my forehead and nose, my skin looked radiant after a bath. It's not sticky. I think I've finally achieved the perfect formula I've always wanted. I won't have to waste money next year (lol).

Its staying power, smooth spread, and tone-up effect are all of a high standard. Its SPF50+ and PA++++ UV protection are also reassuring. I've used other makeup primers with good reviews, but they left me feeling thick and oily and sticky, which wasn't quite what I wanted. I have no complaints about this makeup primer. I hope it never gets discontinued.

I've bought this product many times for spring and summer. It keeps my makeup in place even in the middle of summer, and even when used alone, it not only protects against UV rays but also improves the appearance of my skin. However, it's a little pricey to recommend it as a primer, so I'm giving it five stars.

A few summers ago, I saw Shimada-san explaining and touching up her makeup on TV, and it looked so beautiful, so I bought the trial size! It really does hide pores beautifully! I was so impressed when I looked in the mirror, lol. My friends who met afterwards also complimented me on how beautiful my skin is. However, if you're not careful with the amount, it can tone up so much that it looks completely white. I don't remember it getting into my pores or causing any skin irritation, so I think it's fine. The serum foundations that are popular these days don't have much coverage, so I've been unsure about which primer to use, but I remembered this one, so I'll pull it out and give it a try!
