Ayaka Moisture Barrier Essence, 30ml

I bought this along with the cleansing cream. I was recommended this when I told them about my dry skin. It's a gel-type serum, but it's supposed to be used between toner and emulsion. Two pumps gently massage the bouncy gel into your face. Since adding this and the cleansing cream to my skincare routine, I feel like my skin has become firmer. My desert skin has become a little more moisturized recently... I've also noticed a reduction in acne around my face line. This product comes in a cartridge format, and refills are available, which is a plus.

I bought it after learning that it restores the skin's barrier function! It's a push-type beauty serum. A hard gel comes out and you need to use two pumps. It didn't go away easily, so I kept using it, but... hmm... Maybe I was expecting too many benefits, like strengthening my skin or moisturizing it... It just felt like a regular beauty serum. I felt it was sticky. I like smooth, refreshing skin. This was my first time using Ayaka's skincare. It's not a disposable product, so I'll consider it again later. So far, I'd give it a rating of 4! I've been using it without any problems.

I love this!! My skin around my eyes and mouth is extremely dry, and when I put on foundation in the winter, I'm the only one who gets dry, wrinkled skin even when I go out. ゜(´⊃ω⊂｀)゜. But even when I put on this and then foundation, it's so moisturizing and my skin stays soft!! I can't imagine not putting on makeup in the morning until last year lol, but even so, it's still low lol. Even though I have severe allergies, this is the only thing that doesn't irritate me when I get itchy, so it's a lifesaver that I can use with confidence.

It's a light gel that spreads easily. It feels sticky immediately after application, but becomes smooth over time. However, it sometimes feels dry. I could have bought Chifure's whitening serum, but I didn't experience any skin irritation when using this, and I liked the feel of it, so I bought the refill. There are many other serums that I'm interested in, so I'm not sure if I'll buy it again.

I found this in my New Year's Happy Bag. It has a white gel texture. It spreads well. As for the scent...I quite like it, but it might bother some people. It has a light texture, so you can't expect much moisturizing effect on its own. Chifure's serum (600 yen) might be better for keeping skin hydrated. I've been using it almost every night for about two months, and I haven't noticed any noticeable changes to my skin from using it (e.g., smaller pores, lighter skin tone, etc.). While this might leave you wondering, "How does it work as a serum...?", it doesn't sting even when my skin is a little sensitive, and I haven't experienced any acne or irritation from it, so I appreciate its consistent use. I've used Chifure's serums in the white bottle and the blue whitening version, and I personally like how it's less sticky than those. As I mentioned earlier, I like the scent, so I use it every night, thinking it might be better than nothing. I might buy it again after I run out if I can't find anything better.
