Crafted using the same method as the high-quality oil blotting paper long favored by Kyoto maiko (apprentice geisha). The secret to its high oil absorption is the increased fiber density of the paper, which increases the more it is beaten. Repeated beating removes the unevenness of the surface, making it soft against the skin and durable and tear-resistant. Furthermore, the "three-dimensional lattice structure" ensures a large surface area that comes into contact with the skin, instantly capturing a large amount of sebum.
