Chifure Loose Powder (2 Pearly Lucent), 20g

I ran out of the loose powder I was using, so I searched for a powder that was non-drying, glycerin-free, and zinc oxide-free to use as a stopgap until I could buy more, and I finally found this. It was cheap, so I thought I could try it out casually, and if it didn't work, that was that (sorry). The powder is moist and the particles are quite fine. When I first applied it, it was uneven, so I thought I'd made a mistake, but... I put a lot of powder into the puff, massaged it in, then lightly tapped the puff on a tissue before applying it to my face. This applied beautifully and didn't leave any unevenness. It's non-drying, and leaves a soft, smooth finish, which I love! It did get a bit oily after about three hours, but it was within acceptable limits. It didn't leave my skin feeling too tired. Overall, it felt great, so I've decided to use it for the time being. I'm glad I found such a great product.

It's small enough to fit the Shiseido Essence Skin Setting Powder, which has been awarded Best Cosmetics, and the Ettusais Pressed Skincare Powder. I bought it online without seeing the actual product, so I thought it was cheap, but it was actually small. (I assumed it was normal size.) I think it's good for people who want a smaller size. It's a little larger and thicker than the puff that came with the Ettusais powder mentioned above, but it fit. It's just right as a replacement. I also bought a similarly priced Chacott puff at the same time, which was a little larger and thicker, and it didn't fit in the Ettusais case. If you want something smaller, go for Chifure; if you want something larger, go for Chacott.

It effectively controls excess sebum in the T-zone and prevents makeup from coming off. When layered over a base, it leaves skin feeling smooth and even. The soft, light powder blends easily with base makeup, creating a natural-looking complexion. Even when layered, it doesn't look thick, making it perfect for everyday use.

I used up all my Lucent. I removed the inner lid and used it directly with the puff, so it ran out pretty quickly, but at 880 yen, it wasn't a waste! It even came with a puff that felt nice on the skin, so I was surprised at how good the value was for Chifure. Chacott has finer particles, so I feel like it leaves my skin a little prettier, but this one seems to have more moisturizing power, so I've been using it ever since the dry season started. It doesn't have much coverage, but I work with a mask, so it's important that it doesn't come off messily. I'm considering buying it again, but next time I'd like to try the new lavender color.
