LECHERI Wrinkle Repair Lotion, 160ml (Medicated)

A few years ago, I won a giveaway at Suzykirei and received this set with lotion. Having used the original Le Cheri over 20 years ago, I was intrigued by the brand's revival as an anti-aging skincare brand. The original Le Cheri was at its peak of being fragrance-free and color-free. I cherished it. They also offered mini-sized skincare products and foundations, which I used frequently. Their commercials and water pacts were a big hit. The limited-edition kits were a great value, and they included a half-size powder foundation, mini-sized skincare products, and a convenient pouch. This one had a fragrance. I've always loved Kose skincare, and many of their products have a mild scent. However, I was surprised by how strong the scent was. It's functionally good, but the scent is just too strong. Maybe it's because I'm familiar with the original Le Cheri? It's a little different from the old one. Many skincare products from the Heisei era had a subtle scent, but this one is a bit strong. It's unusually strong for Kose skincare. Their enzyme cleansing powder isn't that strong, though. I wish they'd improve the scent.

I've been using it for a long time. I don't know if it has improved my wrinkles, but it seems to suit my skin, so I'd like to continue using it. It's also refillable, which is great for the environment.

I have sensitive and dry skin. I used the one-week sample that came with the product. Those with sensitive skin should use it with caution. While I didn't check the ingredients, I could smell alcohol. It did sting the first time I used it. Therefore, I recommend using a protective product before using this product if you have sensitive skin. In my case, using Ihada's Medicated Clear Lotion first prevented the stinging. Speaking of more recent products, Carecera's pre-facelift emulsion might also be a good choice. (Both contain micronized petrolatum.) The changes to my skin after using it were quite impressive. I noticed an improvement in the moisture and texture of my skin. However, I was a little hesitant to continue using it because it seemed like it might irritate my skin when my skin wasn't in good condition. Using it every few days might be safer. I think it's a great product for those without sensitive skin.

I'm not a big fan of Le Cheri's skincare products, but this one didn't seem too bad. It has a thick, dense texture and is quite sticky. It doesn't blend easily into the skin, and it takes a while to absorb. However, if you press it into your skin carefully with your hands, it leaves a soft, supple finish. Le Cheri's lotions tend to be sticky and oily, which is why I don't like them, but this one wasn't too greasy. That said, it does feel rich, so I hesitate to use it before applying makeup. I'm worried it might have an effect, especially if I use powder foundation. The biggest drawback is that it takes a long time to absorb. I don't think it's suitable for busy mornings.

I have sensitive skin, but I can use it without any irritation, so I use it as a set of lotion, emulsion, and cream. I think it's moisturizing enough. I find this product alone isn't enough for me as an anti-aging care product, so I use it in addition to an introductory serum and serum that contain a lot of beauty ingredients.
