Fukemin U Medicated Conditioner, 200ml

I bought this because my husband suffers from dandruff, and since he started washing with Fukemin, his dandruff has gradually subsided. It doesn't completely eliminate it, but I would recommend it to anyone with dandruff.

I only purchased the shampoo. I suffer from seborrheic dermatitis and usually use Mediquick shampoo. The scent wasn't as strong as I expected. It leaves my scalp feeling refreshed after washing. However, it does dry out my hair a little. I didn't find Mediquick to be that drying, so this was a bit of a concern, but it may not be a problem if I use it with the conditioner. It doesn't lather very well either.

My regular shampoo doesn't have much cleansing power, so I bought this to use when I want a refreshing scalp wash. It removes a lot of oil from the scalp. It cleanses oily scalps well, but those with dry scalp should be careful. It also seems to suppress scalp odor. The scent of the shampoo itself isn't strong or cloying, and it doesn't linger for long. I plan to use this shampoo on hot summer days, when I've worked out at the gym and my scalp is smelly and oily, or when I've been sick and can't take a bath for a while.

I've only used it about twice so far. I've always had atopic seborrheic dermatitis (scalp eczema?). I'm trying various products, thinking maybe a fungus is causing the problem. My hair is damaged from dyeing, so I want to use a richer product, but the next day, my scalp breaks out into a rash. Collage is a bit pricey, so I use the H&S series and other high-quality products from beauty salons, switching depending on my condition. Even though I've been using samples one after another, I haven't found anything that I'm completely satisfied with. And this one contains an antibacterial agent! The packaging is stylish and doesn't look Japanese. (As someone who dislikes the sparkly polygonal designs they sell at supermarkets, or the cheap, princess-oriented or gyaru-oriented designs, I've also been interested in the recent Ichikami products.) The scent is better than I expected. It smells like apple? It doesn't linger, but it makes me feel good. I don't feel like it's cured the inflammation. It doesn't lather much, so I tend to use a lot. It feels heavy, as is common with products with a lot of ingredients. Maybe it's silicone? I think I can make it smoother by using a different treatment. Ah, it might not leave your hair with that nasty oily smell that builds up over time. It might be effective against dandruff and odor. I'll wait and see, but if your scalp is really rough and bleeding, an amino acid-based product like Minon might be better. I think this is somewhere in between. Other than the product name! It doesn't leave a bad impression.

I use both the shampoo and hair conditioner. My scalp tends to be dry, but this moisturizes it. My hair is smooth and not sticky, so I plan to continue using it when my scalp is dry.
